"Boundless presence, fill the endless void and repent!" Golden streams of light flickered into existence. Slowly they fluttered towards the monstrous beast with the hole on it's chest. "Envelope the unclean, embrace beauty and return what has neen stolen!"
"Yewrahghhhhhh" The creatures screams echoed, but only it's attacker noticed. It writhed in agony as it's attacker watched.
A Buddhist rosary appeared in the attackers hand. " Rest, eternal beast. Let go of discord and return to entropy. Unweave your existence and let life depart."
Golden like raged into fire, breathing into the creatures body before exploding into countless sparks. The air shifted. Swirling around the attacker, bringing light to the beauty of her face.
She was young, maybe seventeen, with soft, pale skin and sheer black eyes. A harsh scar, from left eye to left ear halted her beauty. It was stained purple, with tiny root like marks emanating from it's base.
"Be at peace." Bowing for a moment, she lifted her hands skyward. "Through me to thee, breathe life to this place of death. Let the cycle start anew!"
The sparks shifted, a thousand tiny fireflies fluttered through her, blasting into countless waves of energy that washed over the land. Trees regained color, bugs exploded into song, animals fluttered into action.
The girl fell to her knees, panting as exhaustion hit her. "Damn, that is exhausting..." Clearing her very dry throat, She stood and stumbled away. Her apartment was close.
"Hi Mom...Dad... Ami... I miss you." The picture if her family, long dead, hung on a shrine by her door. "I succeeded again, it was a good hunt. It didn't fight me much. I set a trap, it fell for it easy."
Tears prickled at her eyes for a moment.
"It wasn't the one who killed you guys, I'm not sure I'll ever find him... he looked human unlike the others. I found the other people with powers, the guys with Swords... well, one of them. I am afraid to confront him. I... I don't know what to expect. He was stronger then the beasts I've fought before. I could feel it..."
Falling to her knees, The girl pulled out a flower from her bag, placing it on the shrine.
"I hope you forgive who've I've become. I am not kind like Ami, or generous like you Mom... or eager to volunteer like you Dad. I need to be like this to fight like I've been.
I am not the Mido you remember... "
For an hour, she sat there, mourning her family before hurrying to her kitchen to eat.
She was in bed an hour later, eager to meet the man who helped ruin her life.
"Ichigo Kurosaki... I am coming for you..."
