"Oh my gosh, Thank you!" Amy Cahill said to Derek Harris.
Mr. Harris was a world famous director while his wife, Allison Harris was a famous producer. The Harris family were billionaires, richer than Bill Gates but they also gave half of their money to various charities across the United States.
Eight years after the clue hunt, Amy realized her dream of becoming an actress. She took an acting course at the Theater Arts Conservatory, using the money they won from the hunt. She graduated cum laude and the best student in her acting class. A few weeks later, she acted in a shampoo commercial and had been acting for TV advertisements and commercials for four years now. But still no movie, until now.
"Well Amy. Your performance was stunning and you were simply perfect at the audition. Really good. You were the best among the girls who auditioned. " Mr. Harris said.
Amy blushed "Well Mr. Harris, why don't we have some lunch and you can tell me about the movie then?"
Mr. Harris accepted and he and Amy went to a restaurant down the block, called Annie's. It was a quaint café but the food there was delicious. Mr. Harris ordered cocktails for the both of them and the house special, zucchini mushroom ravioli.
"So the movie's entitled Cassanova. It's about a rich kid named Andrew de Guccieli who was captured by the Russian Mafia, Cassanova. Well Cassanova's daughter, Olga, helps Andrew escape but during the escape, Andrew is shot in the chest and contracts amnesia. Andrew and Olga are both 10 years old then. Now six years later, Olga meets Andrew and falls in love with him. But Andrew still hasn't' recovered from his amnesia and tells Olga he dosen't remember her. Olga runs away in shock and is captured by her father, Cassanova, who was still mad at her for helping Andrew escape. Andrew suddenly remembers everything and helps Olga escape and kill her father."
Amy nodded, amazed. "That's really good" she said "But wait, you said a while ago that somebody important requested you to call me and get me to audition. Who was it?"
Mr. Harris nodded seriously "He said he was a friend. Ian Kabra? I presume you know him?"
Amy nodded weakly and changed the subject "So who'll be playing Andrew?" Mr. Harris looked down at his notes for a minute "A boy from Australia named Kurt Davenport. He's a very terrific singer and he'll be singing the theme song of the movie too."
"Oh," Amy was surprised "Yes, I met Kurt in Australia. He's a very stunning singer." 'At least it's not Ian' Amy thought to herself.
"Well Amy, I must be going! Catch you later" Mr. Harris said goodbye and paid for their food. Then he called a cab over for Amy and smiled at her "You'll do great!" he said enthusiastically "I hope so, Mr. Harris" Amy said sincerely.
On the ride to her apartment, Amy's thoughts were a jumble.
Why did Ian recommend me? Where is he now? Is this all a joke?
Only time would tell...
So I realize that Davenport wasn't Kurt's last name so I made up my own...Hehe
