NEJI
The day starts off on the wrong side of the bed.
It is raining as if the sky is bawling.
Neji is in his cream colored outfit with Tenten close beside him wearing her
raspberry colored outfit.
"Tenten…the mission might be too much."
"No…I have to be by your side…you're always helping me."
"I…worry about your safety…"
"Neji, do you think I'm too weak?"
"No I don't…it's just that…"
"Neji, I have something I've been meaning to tell you…"
WHOOSH!
A silver kunai was sent straight through them.
"Enemy!"
Neji shoved Tenten behind him and got out his kunai.
"Neji, let me help you!"
"No one can help me…"
"Neji! You---! Don't be so stubborn!"
Neji was so caught up with Tenten that he didn't notice a kunai had struck him in
the waist.
"Neji!"
"Holy--!"
"Neji watch out!"
Tenten pushed Neji out and a lighting fast kunai struck Tenten right in her beating
heart.
"Tenten!"
A gush of maroon colored liquid spurted out of her heart and a line of garnet
colored liquid raced down her chin. She collapsed onto the forest floor and Neji
at this, threw a kunai straight at the attacker and the figure fell from the tree.
"Tenten! Don't die!"
"I-it's my turn to help you..."
PSHOO!
A kunai had flew straight at Neji at the last attempt of the attacker and Neji was
struck in his back and he collapsed a feet away from Tenten. Tenten screamed
mutely as Neji landed on the cool forest floor. The beads of water dropped on
their faces as they tried to reach each other, with pain agonizing them.
"Neji!"
"Tenten,"
"I cough, I love you!"
"I love you too…"
They couldn't make it. Their bodies were writhing with pain as they almost
fainted, but with the last amounts of strength their hands met as they smiled in
relief and their eyelids started to get heavy.
Their eyelids gave way and their breathing was weak. They went to sleep only it
wasn't a nap or anything. They won't wake up. From that day on, people could
hear voices coming from the death spot. Not forlorn tones, but blissful sounding
voices. The day they died, a whole new relationship began.
