All errors are mine since I didn't get this beta'd. A little thing rattling in my head after this week's episode.
Jersey Boy
Detective Dan 'Danno' Williams was pissed to put it mildly. His boss, his fricken boss had the tenacity to diss Jersey. Jersey his home town, his place and McGarrett dissed him. Just because he was a haole, mind you his boss wasn't even close to being a native. Hell, he didn't even know where the hell that navy brat was born, but no, Hawaii was his 'adopted home state' yet he got ragged on all the time.
Danno looked at the photo of Gracie he held in his hand. He had a beer in his other hand, a Coors mind you not some island brand, and was still mad at his boss. Yes, McGarrett was always right even when he was dead, fricken wrong!
Gracie. Gracie. Gracie. She was the only reason why he came to this god forsaken place. No place in the world deserved to look this beautiful, yet so screwed up. Why McGarrett chose him was beyond him. McGarrett was the most stubborn, obstinate man in the whole fricken world. He refused to ask how high when McGarrett demanded he jump.
Besides the only famous person he knew from Hawaii was Don Ho. Pearly shells, tiny bubbles? Those are songs? Forgive me but the only singers he knew were Sinatra, Bon Jovi, Valli, and Springsteen. Those guys knew how to sing
McGarrett didn't have a daughter to look after and worry about. McGarrett only cared about himself. His boss just proved it by thinking his old seal buddy was clean as the white driven snow. Hell, maybe McGarrett finally woke up and smelled the Kona Coffee that he was a mere human like the rest of them.
Gracie, what he wouldn't do for her! You are my blood, my life and you have my DNA. Man, McGarrett doesn't know what he's missing not having kids. He was sensitive! Him, just because he didn't want to be here except for his beautiful, talented little girl. Well, she wouldn't be little long and what he wouldn't give for an authentic Italian pizza. Pineapple and pizza did not; he repeated did not go together in any shape or form.
Sighing he put Gracie's photo back on the table and finished his beer. IT was going to be another long day in paradise tomorrow.
