Prologue
People have fainting memories, maybe that's the reason they choose to write journals or diaries; to keep memories alive awhile longer. A journal may contain your deepest darkest secret, your desires and everything you want to tell someone without breaking your trust. You can confide in them without the fear of being judged. That's the beauty of writing in a journal. Just reading it brings everything back to the last detail.
I've kept a journal all my life. It takes me back to a time I once loved and dreaded the most. Time loses essence when I decide to tread back in time to those memories; like today.
