Hi guys its me! I'm going to pick up this story again, I hope you guys bare with me.

I hope you guys enjoyed the first chapter of the rewrite of this story, some of the things in here might be the same as before.

A soft melody flooded through the apartment room. Humming joyfully, a petite women stood next to the stove slowly stirring the flavoring soup. Turning off the stove, she heard the front door open. Knowing who was home, she took off her apron and went to greet her husband.

"Welcome home, Naru" She helped him took off his coat as she give him a peck on the cheek and hanged his coat on the rack "are you hungry? I just finished cooking dinner"

Taking off his shoes, he shakes his head and walked towards the living room "Mai, I need to talk to you" motioning for her to sit with him.

"How about I make you a cup of tea" Mai asked and was about to walk to the kitchen when she heard him refused. Forgetting about the tea, she walked to the couch and sat on the opposite side from Naru.

There were only silence in the room. No one spoke for a while, until Naru sighed and finally broke the silence " Mai, let's divorce" he than slide a paper across the table. On the paper, she could see the bold letter on top of the paper 'Divorce registration' and on the bottom was his name.

She was unable to believe in what was in front of her. Confusion and shock clouded her mind "You're lying, right?" she looked at her husband and was unable to see the lie in his eyes. Her eyes redden, she was unable to hold back her tears "why?" she whispered through her tears.

"I'm sorry" Naru said that one sentence before heading to their room and bringing with him a suitcase. Not once did he looked back at Mai.

She knew that he was leaving her. She chased after him, hugging his back "Naru, please don't leave me" her tears soaked his back as she sobbed, softly.

His face showed no emotion towards her effort in trying to stop her. He slowly removed her hands from behind him.

She saw him leave, not even looking back to her. Right before the door closed, she saw a woman waiting outside. No matter how much she called out to him, he never looked back.

He left her there in tears. Her miserable cried filled the apartment room.

'Mai, don't cry. He doesn't deserve you'

A shadow stood in front of her as he wipes away her tears. The shadow began to lower his head, as if he wanted to kiss her.

Just as his lip were about to touch her lip the door opened revealing Bou-san and Ayako, causing the shadow to suddenly disappear; leaving behind an evil feeling in the air, as if it was a warning.

Arriving to see Mai in tears, they were in shock and confusion. They could sense a faint ominous air around her. Searching around the room with their eyes they were unable to detect anything out if the ordinary, nor were they able to detect were the ominous air came from.

"Mai! What's wrong?" Ayako ran up to mai, who was unresponsive.

"He..left.." after uttering those simple words. Her vision slowly faded into darkness. Leaving her two adoptive parents in panic.

- Inside Dream -

She was surrounded by darkness, the place was without a single soul. She knew that she was inside a dream "how good it would be if I were to never awake from this dream" she whisper as her tears slowly trace down her cheeks.

Walking in silence she felt a presence behind her. Turning around she saw him standing there, looking at her expressionless like always. Just as she was about to walk towards him, he turned and walked away " NARU!" she called to him, as she chased after his shadow. She could only see him getting further and further away. Again he's leaving her, even in her dream he still left her. She sat there in the darkness, as tears stream down her eyes.

"M..ai...M...ai..Mai.."

"Who's there"she called out as looked into the darkness. Right then a figure appeared right in of her. In front of her stood a young man with silver hair and green eyes. As she looked into his green eyes, she find them to be very familiar; as if she had seen them before "but where?" she thought to herself.

"Finally, I found you" he softly whisper as he wipes away her tears.

"Who are you?" Mai asked, slowly backing away from him. She did not know him, which she was suspension of him.

"Don't you remember me?" he laughed and took a step towards her "It's me Len"

"Len?" she mutter the name and shook her head.

"We use to play together all the time when you were a child" He grabbed her hands and held them, not letting her back away further.

"Why are you here?" she tried to pulled her hands away from him, but to no vein.

"To take you away" He smiled at her

"Take...me away?"

"That's right" he caressed her cheek as he looked at her.

She looked at those familiar eyes, they felt so warm and kind. Looking into them makes her feel safe and protected, but at the same time she felt that there was something wrong about all of these "I…"

"MAMA!"
