Ted stood on the street holding the blue French horn in the air as a tear trickled down the soft, pale cheeks of Robin and landed next to Ted.
The next couple of months were a blur for this newly engaged couple. They had a lot of planning to do however some decisions were easy, from the table decorations (which of course would be a pineapple) to the design of the wedding invited (which were to have blue French horns on each of the four corners). Despite the recent divorce of Barney and Robin, Barney gladly agreed to come and ticked off a plus one, and made sure he doubled checked this detail after Punchys wedding. Although Robin was not jealous she couldn't help but wonder who Barney would bring with him but soon forgot all about it.
The wedding day finally came and Robin looked absolutely stunning in her tight, ivory dress. Her brown hair was pulled back into a loose yet sophisticated but at the back on her head with a few loose strands to frame her face.
She had the biggest grin on her face as she reached Ted and the alter and out of the corner of her eye, she saw Barney sat on the front row but couldn't quite see who was next to him. The ceremony went on as Lily and Marshall were both emotional about that fact that their two best friends were finally getting married.
"I do." Robin choked as she gazed into Ted's eyes. The Priest then smiled "You may now kiss the bride." As they kissed for the first time as a married couple, Robin heard a high pitch voice from the front row say "What a lovely ceremony."
Robin turned around to see where the voice she recognised so well came from and saw it came from besides Barney who was smiling awkwardly. Robin finally mastered Lily's death stare as she shouted "NOBODY ASKED YOU PATRICE!"
