The woman stood next to the window, staring out. Her face was pensive as she watched, watched the people walk among the sidewalk below. Her hand came up to the fiddle with the necklace around her neck, her red hair was piled up in a bun on the top of her head.

Amy, no Amelia, as she was properly called now, turned and looked at her desk. There were stacks of submissions that the Duck Pond Publishing company was now accepting to look at. At the centre of the desk sat a copy of 'Melody Malone' that Melody had dropped off not too long ago. The final touches were almost done and it was going to be their first book that they put out.

Moving the manuscript aside, Amelia pulled the type writer forward and began to type the afterward. It was the closing to their life they had with the Doctor, and what a life it was. She smiled to herself as she finished the last sentence. "Goodbye, Raggedy Man."

It may have been the ending to her adventures with the Doctor, but it was the beginning of her new life there, in a new time, in a strange city with strange people. Her adventures weren't over, but this time, they wouldn't include the Doctor.
