Alice was trying to sleep.
She couldnt.
She felt empty. Like something was missing. It had been 3 years since she left Underland, 3 years since she left her dear friends behind. 3 years since she left him behind. She had let him down twice. Broken him twice.
If only she could find Underland again.
Then she would stay.
She closed her eyes.
'Let this all be a dream, and i will wake up where i belong.' she thought.
"Youre late as always."
A familliar deep voice echoed in the room.
Her eyes flashed open.
"Absolem?"
The butterfly was flying above her head.
"Absolem!"
She sat up.
The blue Butterfly fluttered his wings and started flying out through thr door.
Alice stood up and started running after the butterfly. "Absolem wait!" She called after him.
She followed the butterfly through the hallway.
After a while they reached the balcony.
"Absolem? What are we doing here?"
The ground suddenly dissapeared under her and she fell to the ground.
But she wasnt in her garden.
She was in that strange room.
She looked around after Absolem.
But he was gone.
She grabbed the key and drank the pischalver. She started shrinking.
She ran towards the door but stopped.
There was someone next to her.
She looked to her side.
"Hatter?"
She would know him anywhere.
But he didnt respond.
She walked towards him.
"Hatter?"
He looked asleep, but he didnt move.
Like he was frozen.
"Hatter!?"
She sat next to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. He still didnt move. "Hatter!?"
It was no use.
She took his hand in hers.
She felt something.
Alice looked at his hand and saw a tag.
'kiss me' it said.
Alice stared. Was she supposed to-?
Like in the sleeping beauty?
She took off his hat and kissed him softly.
His eyes flashed open, but closed again as she felt him kissing her back.
this is home. she thought as it grew more passionate.
This is where i belong.
