She walked outside into the bitter cold. The snow fell silently from what seemed like nowhere. The grey overcast hid the upcoming snowflakes. The cold wind hit her cheeks, and she felt them begin to sting. She knew her cheeks would be red. She walked forward. No purpose in her step. Nowhere particular to go. The wind whipped around her head, covering her vision. But she did care. She left it there knowing no matter how many times she moved it, it would move back. The wind and crunching snow beneath her feet was the only noise she heard. She smiled inwardly to herself. She liked the silence. She walked and walked, not really looking at where she was going. Somehow, she ended up of his street. She knew she shouldn't be here, he might see her. Even though she doesn't show much emotion, she showed slight panic. She couldn't be here. Not now. Not after what happened. She quickly turned around and began running. She felt someone's eyes burn holes into the back of her head as the street faded from view. She walked into her house, and quickly made it to her room. How could she be so stupid? She could've died. He would've killed her. It's bad enough she has to see him in school. She avoided all hallways that she thought he would be in. Went the other direction if she saw him. She kept her life as far away from him. Her anxiety has sky rocketed, and she has been getting no sleep, which is causing her to begin failing her classes. He had affected her life so badly since she shunned him from her life. And now whenever she saw him, her heart sped up in fear. Then the memory flashes through her mind. His hand everywhere. The pain in her face, then HIM. No not the one she had been avoiding. Someone new, different, and interesting. She remembers HIM coming from nowhere, ripping the other off of her. They fight a short fight. Then, there is just HIM, until black over comes her and she wakes up in a hospital bed. When she asked who brought her there, all they said was she was sitting in the ER all by herself. She had a feeling it was HIM. But how was she supposed to find out? She didn't know HIS name, or where he even came from. HE was a big mystery. She had asked her friends if they had ever seen HIM. Trying to explain HIS physical appearance as best as she could remember. But they had no idea of who she was talking about. She felt disappointed not being able to thank HIM. So now she sat on her bed, trying to do as much studying as she could. She had withdrawn from her friends since the incident. She didn't want to feel their sympathy. She hated when people did that. The next day, walking in the halls. As she turned a corner, there he was. She tried to turn away. But he saw her. He ran to her and pushed her up against a wall. Cursing, spitting with fury. Shed ruined his reputation. She coward at his touch. And looked for an escape. For somebody, but no one was there. When she got out of school, she walked to the tallest building she knew of. She was tired of being scared, and harassed. She wanted an escape, and the cutting just wasn't doing the job. No one was there for her. Her parents ignored her since the incident. He found her and threatened her life. No one was there to help. So now the wind whipped around her as she looked own the sheer drop of the building. She said her last prayer, and began to cry. A touch on the shoulder shocker her. Looking, she saw HIM. But he was shirtless, and large, black, glossy, satin like wings were sprouted from his back. And with that touch she knew what she was doing. She saw all the people that would be hurt. How the Earth itself would be altered. And slowly but surely, she stepped back from the edge. She looked toward HIM, but he was gone. She smiled at herself, she had a guardian angel.
