Running as fast as their legs can carry them with Toph leading the way, their hearts pounding as they try to stop the ending of the free world.
"Its right there" Toph said pointing straight ahead at the door to the temple.
Sokka tightening his grip on his sword, Katara with thick ice around her fist.
"Blast it" Sokka ordered Toph.
"With pleasure" growled Toph as she punched the door with such force the whole temple shook and the door went flying but it stops in midair.
"Now why would you want to destroy my stuff?" asked Aang in a light voice. Lowering the door gently to the floor, laying it flat.
"Hello, I hope you found what you were looking for destroying my home" Aang spoke calmly as he walked towards Appa and started to stroke his cheek with Momo flying up and laying down in Appa saddle to sleep.
"We really don't want to do this Aang" Katara said to Aang looking at him.
"Yes we do" Toph and Sokka said in unison.
"Where Zuko is," Aang asked smiling, "too scared and hurt to show up".
"Don't you dare talk about Zuko" Katara said angrily, "He is way better warrior than you".
"Well if that was true he would be here wouldn't he" Aang responded with a smirk.
"Can we stop the chit chat and beat the crap out of him already" Toph said annoyed.
"Why, can't you see that I'm trying to have a friendly conversation" Aang replied "oh wait you can't sorry".
"UURRRRGGGG!" Growled Toph balding her fist and stomping the ground making the metal door crush into a huge ball and fly towards Aang. Aang blasting it with a white-hot fireball making it catch fire and blasting it towards the group. Katara freezing it, Sokka hitting it with his sword making the ball shatter.
"Enough!" shouted Aang, "I don't want to fight my friends", he added looking at Katara in her eyes.
Katara staring back as she started to lower her hands.
"Awww come on," Sokka said interrupting the silence Aang and Katara eyes still fighting each others." We came here to do a job, let's do it!"
"Your right Sokka" Katara said breaking the gaze, Aang turning his back towards them. Then so fast that it was a blur she swung her arms and sharps pieces of ice zoomed towards Aang. Aang feeling the vibrations of her movements moved quickly blocking the ice shards as it the rock wall.
"You might have taught me" Aang spoke to me Toph and Katara, "but, I think I have surpassed your abilities and you Sokka well, I'm not even worried about you."
"You will be." Sokka coldly said to Aang.
"Well we shall see but now I have to go," said Aang hopping onto Appa.
"Oh no you don't!" Toph said throwing giant boulders at Appa.
Aang outraged his arrow tattoo lightening up "AARRGGGGG!" Aang bellowed and jumping in the air hitting the boulders with his glider making them explode. Then blasting the three of them back with strong winds like leaves in a storm, "DON'T YOU DARE TRY TO HARM APPA!" Aang said in a dark voice. Then making Appa fly up to the top temple as he blast the roof off.
Flying off into the day "Appa we are about to see a new world, a world where I will rule all but, we have one stop to make, I think it's time to visit my old friend Bumi". Appa grunting in response, heading towards the city of Omashu as Momo sticks his head up from his nap.
