Asdfghjkll- I needed a little break from my other story called 'Coincidence' xD It was giving me a headache~ I actually was going to add this scene in the story, but decided it was better of as a fic on it's own c: It was actually inspired by a book called 'The Giver' If you haven't read it, go read it! I really liked that book xD Anyways this is an AU fic and I don't own Tsubas

What does a perfect world mean to you?...

Kurogane glared at his homework.

Damn that stupid teacher! He didn't know how to answer a question like that! Would everyone just live happily ever after? A world without sadness? Anger?

He couldn't write about that, because it didn't exist! Kurogane was a realistic type of guy. He didn't have time to think about some fantasy utopia.

The teen looked over at his childhood friend, Fai, who decided it would be a great idea for him to crash at Kurogane's house tonight.

Fai was already done with his homework. He was currently lying on his stomach on his bed. He was eating those weird Pocky sticks that Yuzuriha girl had given him earlier in school.

"Oi! You better not get those crumbs on my bed!" Kurogane shouted from his
studying desk. He is not going to sleep on some crumb infested mattress tonight!

"Oh, relax Kuro-pon! I'm not getting crumbs anywhere~." The blonde teen giggled and Kurogane scoffed. He kept glaring at his homework. He was starting to get really fed up with it.

After a little while of thinking, he decided that he should get some 'inspiration' from the blonde. (As much as it hurt his pride to do so.)

"Oi, blondie! What the hell is a perfect world?" he asked, wondering if it was the right thing to do.

He heard a sigh. "Honestly, I think a 'perfect' world would be an awful place to live."

Kurogane turned to face the blond. He was just sitting there smiling. Awful place to live, Kurogane thought. Wasn't that everyone's dream world? A world without problems...as stupid as it was.

Suddenly, Fai started laughing.
"You look confused, Kuro-chan! Allow me to explain.~" It's not like he had a choice. He groaned. Fai's 'talks' always gave him headaches. Fai always thought differently than the other teens his age. He's been like that since they were kids.

Kurogane prepared himself for the worst.

"If we were to live a world only filled with happiness and everyone loved each other, then we would never truly understand those feelings..." Fai started. "We wouldn't understand how great happiness feels, because we wouldn't have sadness to counter that." He had a point, Kurogane thought as he kept listening to the blond's lecture.

"Love would be totally meaningless, if everyone just loved each other the same." Fai gave a little smile. "You starting to get it, Kuro-baka?"

Kurogane flinched.

"YOU THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING 'BAKA', BAKA?!" The raven haired teen roared, as he went to attack his blond companion.

"I was kidding!~"
"Then stop kidding around, dumbass!"
"Pillow fight!~"
"Damn you!"

At the end, Kurogane just wrote the stuff Fai was saying earlier. He thought about it, and it made sense. A perfect world wasn't so perfect after all. Kurogane sighed, perfection doesn't exist, just like he thought.

He got up and stretched a bit. Fai had gone to sleep after their little 'pillow fight.' Of course, he took his bed! He thought to himself.

He was a bit curious. What was Fai's answer? He decided to raid the blond's backpack, looking for himself.

Knowing Fai, it was probably something long a complicated. He found his homework folder and took at the worksheet.

"As long as I have my Kuro-puu, any world is perfect to me!~ ;)

Kurogane felt the corners of his lips curve upwards.

That idiot.

asdsnksks- a bit rushed and cliché but oh well~ its four in the morning anyway xD Hope you enjoyed~
