Chapter 1- New Bikers in Chicago?

The sky was dotted with stars and peace reigned sovereign. The Biker Mice were at the Last Chance garage enjoying their sweet free time. Vinnie watched a horror film on the tv, Throttle worked on his bike, and Modo gave Charley a hand in cleaning the garage.

A big explosion interrupted the peace of that summer evening. Quickly the guys were on their bikes and on the scene where the incident occurred. As always, Limburger's goons were involved and the bank was their target. Greasepit's tracks of slime said more than a thousand words.

"Let's finish this as fast as we can. I want to finish watching the film!" said an impatient Vinnie.

"Do we go for the assault?" asked Throttle.

"Chaos! Chaos! I Like it!" exclaimed the white mouse, doing a wheelie on his bike and running at the enemies. His friends followed.

So started a pursuit of Greasepit and his goons attempting to escape through the big cloud of dust the explosion generated.

"Bye Bye, mousy!" said the big guy, giggling.
But soon the guys were able to reach him.

"Its better for you stop now and not make Vinnie mad," Modo exclaimed.

"Sure! I've missed out on the best of the film because of you!" agreed the white mouse as he tried to hit Greasepit with his rockets but missed him instead. "Man! If I got you..."

The assault plan wasn't working so they 'played' at "Guard and Thief" for awhile before arriving at a deserted warehouse; and it was here that the unexpected happened. Greasepit was suddenly attacked by a unknown biker riding a bronze bike. It was similar model to that of Vinnie's. The helmet had a double golden 'F' just over the dark glass that hid the face of the biker. The unknown biker ran fast and with a good fist he dislodged the giant guy, causing him to fall from his vehicle.

But it didn't finish here. The biker helped the Biker Mice with the other goons. Only after it was over did the unknown biker go to Greasepit without saying a word. There was little light but the profile of the biker was clear. The biker was a she and wore a dark biker suit. The legs were long and slim, with high heel shoes and ample breast. However, it wasn't possible to discern her identity.

The guys had a déjà vu moment. They remembered when Charley had worn a biker suit and had helped them in the same manner as this biker was doing now.

"Hey Charley!" exclaimed Vincent, going closer to her.

"Wait Vincent! She isn't Charley!" said Throttle. He knew, she wasn't Charley because of the difference in walk.

The biker got off her bike and went close to Greasepit. She seized him by the strap and lifted him with surprising strength. She said something that the guys couldn't hear and Greasepit cried: "I don't know what you're saying!" and then, "Don't hit me!".

Puzzled, the woman let go of him and returned to her bike. Vinnie was quick to block her way.

"We should run together someday," he exclaimed.

The attempt at conversation was totally ignored by the lady who only ran away, destroying the warehouse's wall as she did.

"What a woman!" exclaimed the white mouse "And what an outfit!"

Puzzled, Throttle put his palm to his face. "So, let's go back to Charley. Perhaps she knows something and she can tell us about it."

The guys returned to the Last Chance Garage but their expectations were dashed.

"But it isn't you?" asked Vinnie.

"Impossible. Charley isn't so strong as that and did you see how she lifted Greasepit? Or how she then took him down?" said Throttle.

"She lifted that big monkey?" asked Charley astonished.

"Yes. With one hand and stood in that way for awhile. Knowing that some women are so strong makes me worried." said Modo. "I mean, Carbine isn't any stronger than usual... and she's the General of the Freedom Fighters."

"Yes, but she's so sexy! I must discover who she is!" said the white mouse.

"Vincent!" Throttle said with a shake of the head.

Charley was more puzzled than Throttle and folded her arms. "I don't see any problem if she doesn't interfere with you, especially if above all if she gives you a hand. Or are you worried that she can steal your work?" she laughed.

Modo attempted a smile. "Of course not, Charley ma'am. But the curiosity is a bad beast. The last time was you, but now? Who is helping us?"

"Maybe it could be just a coincidence. Maybe she was searching for Greasepit for another reason and she came upon us." Throttle didn't understand what was happening. He was sitting on the chair looking lazily at his bike. His arms were crossed upon the back of the chair and he rested his chin on them.

In the following days the weird circumstances continued. Throttle's words were wrong: the lady biker had targeted Greasepit and Limburger's goons! Every time she hindered them, but only during the cover of night, concealing her identity. Every time the guys arrived too late only to find the fight was finished and they were obliged to come back to the garage with their tails between their legs and their ears down. In addition the lady didn't give them the opportunity to have a chat and always disappeared as the three were distracted.

Charley didn't know how make them feel better. She watched them with her arms folded. Vinnie was lying on the cold floor looking at the ceiling, Throttle was walking around like a tiger in a cage, and Modo sat on the sofa watching the tv and changing the channel every time.

"Ok Guys, wake up!" yelled the girl in a voice that made them tremble.

"We are awake! But boredom is high!" the white mouse snorted.

"I'd like to go fishing." said Modo switching off the tv "Every time the lady is on the scene, so our presence is useless."

"But what if she needs help? She can't do everything alone," Charley said. "Let's go! Maybe this time we'll arrive first! Oh- and I am coming too!"

"That's the spirit, Honey!" Vinnie exclaimed, standing up. "Let's go see if Limbuger is up to something bad!"

The other two martians exchanged a puzzled look and sighed. Throttle shrugged and took his helmet. "Let's go. It's better to do something than nothing."

So they rode around in a quiet Chicago, as it had been when the guys had met the lady biker. But the doubt that she was Charley was high. What if didn't she come? Would it be a coincidence? And only now that they had Charley with them?

As they had thought, the peace of this night was hiding one of Limburger's diabolical plans. In fact Greasepit drove an oil tanker along the river. The guys looked around but saw no trace of the lady biker, so they prepared to attack.

Greasepit was on the upper deck of the oil tanker overseeing the operation. Soon they would have to open the oil's container and pour the contents into the water of the river.

Screaming happily, Vincent launched the assault followed by his friends "This time is ours!"

"Have you seen her? Perhaps she won't come this time," said a smiling Charley sitting on Vinnie's bike.

Thusly, a fight commenced between the mice and Limburger's minions. The guys were tailed by enemies firing upon them. The Biker Mice separated: Throttle to the right, Modo to the left, and Vinnie went straight ahead. Every enemy followed his target but it ended up being a big mistake! Everyone was defeated except those who followed Vinnie. One of them burst the wheel of the mouse's bike, causing it to careen and fall badly.

"Is everything ok?" asked Charley, fighting hard to stand up.

A confused Vinnie nodded. Looking toward the enemies that were coming fast, he tried to find the flares and succeeded. He was ready to throw them at the goons but two unknown bikers hitched their bikes to the enemies' vehicles with a rope, halting them. The moonlight illuminated their biker suits, but this time they were two men. The lady biker was also among them. She helped Charley to her feet and asked her to remain where it was safe. The two men went to help Modo and Throttle with the last of the goons.

All the bikers returned in the fight, Vinnie as well alongside the lady biker, while Charley stood safely thinking that the bikers were 3 in total and not just one and that they didn't appear dangerous. So, it probably was just that the guys were afraid of being shown up! The girl smiled. All the bikers were fighting as if it were a big party and without any words!

Throttle and Modo defeated Greasepit while the others hitched their bikes to the ship, dragging it to the mouth of the river. Modo and Throttle caught up with them and helped with the bringing the ship in. Once they arrived at the river's mouth, they turned the ship back over to the machinist. He thanked them and took the control of the vessel to continue his work.

The situation dwindled to a calm and Limburger's goons fled, leaving the Biker Mice alone with the three bikers, face to face. Charley finally ran to the mice.

"Hey, Honey! Did You see? We won!" exclaimed Vinnie happily.

The girl smiled and then she glanced at the unknown bikers. "You have never told me they were three."

"In fact they weren't... I don't know about the other two." Vinnie answered.

"Who are you?" Throttle asked "Why are you there?"

No answer. The bigger biker greeted the mice with a solemn wave of the hand and then with his other companions ran away.

The Martians gazed at them as they disappeared. Vinnie became flustered. "So sociable!" he exclaimed sarcastically. "Man!"

Charley was positive. "At least in the end we know they're not dangerous."

"It could be the case, but we can't know for sure if it is so. We don't know if they're with or against us. Who can say if they're a new danger for the city and they're only trying to defeat Limburger for the taking of Chi-town?"

"Always so optimistic?" Modo smiled. "I hope they simply want give a hand."

"If so, then it is better if they explain their intentions. We can't accept help from someone that isn't forthcoming," the tan mouse said worriedly.

Vinnie crouched lazily on his bike watching his two friends in discussion. He moved his head first to one side and then the other, yawning "All this speculation isn't useful. It's better to force them to speak."

"So rude!" Charley laughed. "Let's go guys. I think they're introverted people."

"Hmmmmm.. their bikes are interesting..." Throttle said thoughtfully.

"Their lady biker is interesting," Vinnie said. "In the end I'll eventually challenge her!"

"Oh please, Vincent!" exclaimed Throttle, stifling laughter that almost brought tears to his eyes. "By the way, we know now that they're three and not one."

Modo was thinking. "All three bikes were bronze, right? And if I saw well enough, the biker suits are black like the helmets. Maybe they belong to some organization?" He put a hand on his head.

The others hadn't noticed- same bike color and suit.

"Who knows! We could discover they're part of the CIA!" Charley joked.

"What's CIA?" asked Vinnie. The girl continued to laugh, cuffing her friend across the back. "Doesn't matter. But I don't think they are."

"We failed this time, as well. We didn't find what we are seeking, again.." the lady biker said.

"Don't get worked up about it, you know is useless." the young male biker said.

"The problem is these three. We can't act as we please if we'll run into them every time," the bigger biker with a hoarse voice said.

"Yes but what should we do? Kill them?" the young one asked.

"The code forbids it." The big guy seemed thoughtful.

"I think we must try another way," the girl said.

"What do you propose?"

"Just do what we must. We'll go to Limburger's tower and finish this. If the enemies are only those goons, then the mission will be easy," she responded.

The two males were thoughtful.

"It's ok. To try isn't so bad," the bigger one finally said after some silence.

"So tomorrow night we're going to finish our mission!" exclaimed the girl.
