I Accuse

By SMYGO4EVA

I accuse you of looking into the wrong mirror, Ami. Life isn't always that easy to deal with, and you can't spend the rest of your days fighting darkness inside and out. It's everywhere, and we can't stop that. Without darkness, there is no light, and without light, there would be no darkness. You get the picture, don't you? Your cybernetic theories may help people, but in the end, you'll need more help than you can get. Are you really this child prodigy-turned-senshi, because you're either one or the other.

People would use you because of your innocence and naiveté, but you're too smart for that, aren't you? Students would want to copy off your homework and strangers would rob you blind. You can't trust people that easily, Ami. You should know better. And what about your friends? Sure, they're like flesh and blood, but they're not. They could turn on you at any second of any day, and still you wouldn't know what hit you. Even if it stared at you right in the face, you still won't get it.

Intellect is polarizing: it can lead you into achieving great things and it could make you wish that you didn't know so much. Ignorance is bliss, after all. Look, I'm only saying this because I don't want you to get hurt. The world is your oyster, but I accuse you of seeing past the bad and straight to the good of things. With that, I accuse you.
