My mother lived in a small city along the sea. She was the only daughter of five to a lonely widower. She shared such similar appearances with her mother, that her father and brothers took every precaution to keep her safe.

One day, the priest of the Temple of Poseidon came to them. He said that the God had come to him in a vision and said that my mother was to be brought to the temple as an offering. In exchange, the city would flourish for as long as she lived. Despite the great honor, my grandfather refused to allow my mother to be taken by the god.

Poseidon grew angry and tortured the city. The people grew angry thus at my grandfather and demanded my mother be sent to the temple. When he refused again, he was slain before my mother's eyes. Her brothers tried to protect her, but each one was slain before her. They took her to Poseidon's temple where she was offered to him. And he took her with no hesitation.

My mother fled the city. She traveled as far from the Temples of Poseidon, until she could travel no more. Her journey took so much of her strength that her death came soon after my birth. As I grew, I was told of my mother's journey. It was not long before I knew I was an outsider among the people. The bastard daughter of a god.

When I came of age, I left the village I'd known as home. I started to wonder through the land, unaware of my demigoddess gifts. But as time passed, I became a source of lust for the god Apollo. Upon his temptation, I refused him. From his furry, Apollo came for me in the night, whilst I slept.

I can still remember the strength he possessed as he tried to subdue me. The smell of his flesh. But I would never allow myself to be taken by the gods the way my mother had. That was my one promise to her. I would never be taken by the gods. With the power passed down to me by Poseidon, I forced Apollo from me, sending him from my sight.

Raging with fury of his humiliation, Apollo cursed me with agelessness, so that I may know the pain of watching loved one's pass whilst I remain behind. I then watched for years as people died before my eyes. I watched men grow grey with age and buried beneath the earth. The pain left by their deaths remained within my heart as years passed.

But one day, as I traveled along the shoreline, I watched as Zeus struck King Acrisious. I watched as the casket was thrown into the tempest sea. It was then that something called to me. To this day I know not what called me, but I followed the casket, using my inherited abilities, to guide the casket from the tossing sea.

I watched from a distance as the child from within the casket grew. I watched him as a young man save a city of unbelievers. I gave my life for the man who could change the war between god and man. I gave my heart to the demigod who defeated the Kraken; Perseus.
