I know when you hear this you'll think that it's cheesy.
But I love you with all my heart,
And nothing can keep us apart.

Nothing can keep us separate for long, not even an old flame.
My rhyming is so not cool,
To not rhyme is one of my golden rules.
But you give me grand gestures with your heart so shiny,
I want to return them, but I will be a bit winey.

This is not a simple game.
You have saved me from certain death on numerous cases,
I can never thank you enough, with embraces.
You are my sole mate,
And that is not an easy fate.

I am a detective,
And you are too protective.
But we can work this out,
I have no doubt.
