A/N - This is start of the story that I had planned. Getting enough inspiration from what I find the best Final Fantasy. Number 6. So I was completely heartbroken when I found that two of the characters I liked were not in it. Here's the beginning of the story..you could say it's a Prequel to all the other Dissidia's.
Now depending on the reception, this could end up being a One-Shot. I do have ideas on how this story could go.
Disclaimer - All the following people/places/spells/anything else that sounds like Final Fantasy in general is owned by Square-Enix. Don't hurt me please T.T
Prologue
It was at this point that she was holding on for dear life. Gripping tightly onto the ledge with both of her hands, though she knew she had lost all her strength in the recent battle with her adversary. The destined battle between the Warriors of Cosmos and the Warriors of Chaos. Had she been on the wrong side all along? That's all that ran through her mind, just one person had managed to make her think differently when she was weakened.
Originally she would have chose to die, keeping her pride and face the impeding fatal attack. But here, she was just holding on, clinging for her life or could it have been hope. The words of that man who found her when she was separated from her allies. She wanted to just curse him, curse him for ruining what she thought was right. Now she knew it was wrong, she formed a bond and didn't want to lose it. That was it.. that was the only thing that left her hanging on.
The ground below of the tower had begun to crumble, something had happened and the area itself was just cracking away. Did her forces win.. or was it his? All that fighting she had done, she showed mercy but was still ruthless. Was it all for nought? Though the reaction of the Man with the Machine gun when he first saw her was amusing enough. She couldn't bring herself to finish him off, all because of that one man...
Her left arm gave way, still she hung on as tightly as she could with her right. Then she noticed it, the blue bandana that she found. Knowing full well it was his, seeing it fall gracefully down the tower itself. She had let go to try and grab it. Why? Why did she do that, but she had stopped falling. She wasn't even moving, looking up. There he was...the one who had beaten her.
Pleading to him to just let her go. Her heartstrings pulled as she said that, it pained her. Knowing full well if he continued to hold on, he to would fall with her. Then he had said something..that just made her smile, it made her feel complete. How could a Warrior of Cosmos make her feel this way? She didn't care anymore. Her hero was there, smiling to her.
I will not let go... I promise!
There was definitely a place for her and him to be together. Somewhere.. somewhere other than this battlefield for good and evil...All those feelings she once had as an adversary for this man were gone. She just wanted to be with him, by his side and believe in that promise.
