Sable was never always silent. She was talkative and beautiful; she was like a younger mirror image of me. Though now she is silent. Not many people know why, they try to communicate with her but she gives them the cold shoulder. Nothing will come out of her mouth besides excuses about how she needs to get on with her work. I can tell you why she is silent, but you have to promise you won't say a word…
It was a cold crisp spring morning; she was waiting outside the cherry tree near Tom Nook's store. She always waits for him there. He was always appreciative of her spikes, her looks. He didn't care. Well at least that is what she thought. She waited for hours, from six in the morning to twelve. She decided it was getting a little cold so she decided to go to the museum coffee bar for a soul warmer. She made the trek up, her little footprints showing in the sand. She would occasionally stop to shake a tree earning her a few bells and happiness. Finally she made it into the museum. She stopped to talk to Blathers on the way. He didn't stop talking so she left him, mid sentence. There he was. In the coffee shop. He wasn't waiting for her. She was shocked. He hated coffee. She cocked her head to the side. She stood there staring for a little while. Until she noticed he was not alone.
"B…B..B" she stutters. Her head immediately turns to the Brewster. He knows everything. He knows the answer. "I know this is a shock, he comes here every evening with her, for coffee. Sometimes he takes her to his Saturday night shows, he plays all you favourite songs and she sits there stone cold. There is only one thing you can do now…speak up."
She gathers her courage, all of it and begins to walk closer, trembling. She's in earshot, she is just about ready when she hears they're conversation. "It would be better if that ugly spikey thing never talked." He nods his head in agreement. He's with a girl; she has a beak and slightly purple feathers. She dies inside. Though it gives her strength.
The rest is the blur, all that's left is coffee stains and broken ceramics for the Brewster to clean up. After all the story is a guessing game.
