Hey I am back! Any way this is a normal conversation of Percy and Annabeth, I know it is not any good, so no flames, okay?

Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

"So you don't believe in love?" asked a young teenage boy to a young teenage girl.

"No, I don't "she said, sipping her fruit drink, pineapple to be exact, she let it sit on the café table, the cold droplets making a ring on it, the raven-haired boy drank his blueberry shake, frowning despite the sweet taste in his sensitive mouth.

He set his drink down too and looked at his friend "Why?" "Because" she said back, tucking in a piece of her golden hair back behind her ear, and looked back at her friend with calculating gray eyes.

"Because why?" he pressed, she sighed and looked down, this was a painful subject for her to talk about "Percy, you know why", Percy frowned, knowing his friends painful past, "Yeah, I know, but think about it, Annabeth, if there wasn't love we wouldn't be here."

Annabeth almost choked on her drink, and blushed, what did he say? "What?" she sputtered, Percy looked at her with concerned sea green eyes and said, " I mean, think about Annabeth, well you think about everything." "Percy…." "Okay! Sorry! What I mean to say is that, if our parents didn't fall in love, we wouldn't be here"

Annabeth blush died down and her heart rate slowed down to the normal pace. After realizing what he meant, but strangely she was disappointed that he dint mean what she thought he meant.

Annabeth rolled her eyes and said to her friend " I wouldn't say that's love Seaweed brain, more like lust if you ask me" Percy sighed in irritation, obviously seeing that this conversation was going nowhere.

"You such a realty checker, Wise girl, y'know it's nice to sometimes go with the flow", Annabeth smiled dryly "I am not surprised that you haven't figured that out about me yet, Percy"

Percy sighed, and ran through his hand through his messy head. "There's love out there for you Annabeth, you haven't just experienced it" Annabeth looked at him with a calculating gaze and asked him in a whisper " What makes you think that?"

Percy looked at her with eyes that were only reserved for her and said in atone that she couldn't recognize, but loved it all the same "I just know Annabeth, I just know"

The End
