Draco's POV
Putting my hands in my pocket, I whistled all the way to the Room of Requirement. Today was our anniversary and I wanted to treat Ginny to a romantic dinner. (Okay fine, the room was doing all the work but come on, I kinda thought of the idea...Wait...) Anyways, when I got there, Ginny was already waiting for me. "Don't worry, I already set the room to be perfect." I gulped. After a traumatic experience, I knew that Ginny should never be allowed to plan anything."Soo, Weasel, do I have the privilege of escorting you in?" "But of course my little ferret." I took her hand and led her inside, already bracing myself for what I was about to see.
The first word that came to me was : playground. A very very VERY dangerous playground. There were mountain climbing rocks, paintball guns, some rock with red stuff pouring out of it (was that lava?) and of course, broomsticks. "Come on!" Ginny shouted excitedly, dragging me along. I groaned quietly. Perks of dating a Gryffindor.
"Let's start with the mountain climbing thing, then move on to the Percy Jackson-" "Hold up," I interrupted, holding up my hand. "Percy Jackson?!" Turning red, she snapped, "Yes, don't interrupt!" I smirked. Seems like being with Granger has influenced her. And...I knew about it too. Oh lord, I've been spending too much time with Gin.
Bet you can't reach the top before me!" I shouted, watching her eyes light up. Gin loved a challenge. "One, two, three, go!" I scrambled up the rocks as fast as I can. Once i reached an orange foothold, I stopped and looked down, waiting for Gin to tease her."Looking for me?" I looked back up to see a grinning Ginny, already at the top. "How..." "I've been practicing." she replied with a nonchalant shrug. Ha, right. Gin might try to act nonchalant but I knew her too well. She wouldn't want we to show weakness in front of anybody. That's what I loved about her.
"Okay, my mountain goat won this round. But we still have the lava fountain ..." "Was that a challenge? Oh you're so on."
Several singed T-shirts later, we called a draw. "NOW FOR THE PAINT!" I groaned, dragging my feet as I followed her. Don't Gryffindors ever get tired?
Ginny's POV
"PAINTBALL ATTACK!" I shrieked before jumping on Draco and splattering him with paint. He jumped and put his fingers to my hair. "Oh my god Gin I'm bleeding! I'm going to die!" I rolled my eyes. "You big baby, that was just red paint. Although..." I stepped back to admire my handiwork and smirking. "What's so funny?!" I walked towards him, and stroked his chin. "Red hair, and a somewhat panicked expression. You must be a Weasley."
Draco's POV
Oh, she did not do that. I picked up the paintball gun and shot a yellow blob at her. "Hey!" "Now we're equal." We looked at each other and burst out laughing. "So Ginerva Weasley, how about being my Malfoy?" I asked, producing a ring from my pocket and promptly dropping it. She grabbed it and cocked her head, smiling down at me. "Only if you'd be my Weasley."
"Oh come on! Draco Weasley? That's just weird." I whisper-shouted in her ear. Location? A squished cabinet in the corner of the room because Finnegan and Thomas decided to have some fun. Guess the Gryffindors can't keep a secret. "You made a deal..." Ginny smirked, wiggling her fingers. I smiled and gave her a peck on her cheek. "For what's worth, Ginerva Malfoy, I would be honoured to share anything with you."
"Anything?"
"ANYTHING but your surname."
