So, she comes today?
Yes.
What should I do? You said she'd screw up the entire building, but I got a deal goin' on.
Call in sick. I'll deal with all of it.
Will you keep my bar safe, and get me my money?
Don't worry. I know just what to do.
Yang Xiao Long walked into the building, just as the words of fate intended, and she walked up to the bar, passing Roman Torchwick, getting the men he needed already, not from Junior though. He called in "sick".
This is where the words of fate are interrupted, as the spot Junior would stand was replaced by someone else. Currently, he was uncomfortable in the fancy get up, but he needed to play his part right or else. On his muscular frame he wore a golden silk suit and tie, with golden silk pants, and a pair of black dress shoes. Peeking out from the tie was a hardly noticeable golden chained choker. He had dirty blonde-ginger hair (depending on how clean he was). Currently, it shined it's dirty gold blonde (meaning he was clean). He also wore a pair of blue rectangle rimmed sunglasses.
"One strawberry sunrise, no ice. Oh, and add the tiny umbrella to," Yang said as usual, and she was passed her drink.
"Aren't you a little young to be-
"Eh, starting already? Well, who am I to talk? I started when I was ten," the man laughed. He looked and sounded to be in his fifties (deep, rough voice, or for a more accurate tone, Brok from God of War 4). "You know what, how 'bout I pay for you, young dragon."
"Thanks. Hey, I was looking for someone named Junior. I heard he-"
"Called in sick. Sorry. But, if you're looking for info, I may be able to help," the man explained, then taking a swig of something passed to him.
"How?" Yang asked.
"I'll have to tell you out back," the man said.
"Um, okay?" Yang said in a questioning tone. So she and the man walked around the counter, first showing I.D. to the guards and giving the okay, and they walked down a hall to a door on the right. They entered a private room with a single table and a light overhead.
"So, I heard you want information," the man said, his voice tone lowering.
"Yeah, about my mom," Yang answered.
"I don't know who your mom is, but if you want it that badly… Let's make a deal," the man said as he snapped his fingers.
The door slammed shut, startling Yang, and the light went out, and flickered on again. Yang could only see the table, herself, but not the man, but in the dark in front of her appeared a pair of red dots.
"So, you want to know where your mother is. I can't tell you that, but I can tell you when in time you will see her," said a different voice. It was distorted, deep, the voice of a monster.
"Um… is there a catch?" Yang asked, now scared.
"Yes, you must bring to me your younger sister. I promise not to hurt her, just to see her. Not today, but in two days. Go down to the harbor and if you look at some corner stores, you should find my dust shop, The Loaded Bullet. Do you understand?" ordered the voice.
"If only you promise you won't hurt Ruby-Hey! How did you know I have a younger sister?"
"You wouldn't remember, you were terribly sick. Now do we have a deal?" asked the voice, as the man's hand extended.
"I guess, but you have to do your part," Yang said as she gripped the hand and gave a firm shook.
"I always do," returned the voice. They released their grip as a snap was heard.
The light flickered as the door opened and Yang saw the man in front of her again, without the red dots. They left the room and went back into the bar, and the man saw Yang out. She hopped on her motorcycle as she sped away, and the bar was left unscathed...
"You wasted the opportunity on seeing the young reaper?"
"Fuck off, you have to admit, seeing her always brings cheer."
"She's a silver eyed one, the bane of Salem, who is my nemesis... I guess you're right."
"Oh, I know I'm right. Wait... aren't you from-"
"Like you said, fuck off."
