I DO NOT OWN ONE PIECE!
Chapter 1: A WHAT IN THE WHO NOW?
*sigh* "That was a shitty day..." said Zeff as he walked home from work.
He arrived at his door when he spotted a box.
"I didn't buy anything..." he mumbled.
Zeff picked up the box and carried it inside. He walked over and plopped down on the couch. He opened the poorly shut box and gasped.
Inside the box laid a small baby. The baby had light blond locks of hair and was wrapped in a towel. He slowly put the box on the near by coffee table and ran to the other room.
He picked up his phone and dialed 911.
"Hello this is-"
"SOMEONE LEFT A FUCKING KID ON MY DOOR STEP!" he paniced.
"Sir please calm do-"
"WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO DO?"
"Sir...pl-"
"SHIT! ITS CRYING!" Zeff yelled as an audible cry sounded through the house.
"Goodbye sir." A click could be heard.
"...shit..."
Zeff walked back into the the living room and bent down to look in the box.
The baby's eyes were filled to the brim with tears.
Zeff's heart felt a pang of guilt.
He reached down to pick up the baby, when he felt the baby's head.
"Shit, you're burning up." gasped Zeff as he picked up the baby and ran out the door.
He ran about a block and caught a bus.
"Oi, can you take me to the hospital! This baby is sick!" he pleaded.
The bus driver nodded and took off.
A little later they arrived.
Zeff rushed into the E.R. and explained the situation to the nurses.
"We understand, we will examine him now." she said as she took the bundle behind large doors.
After standing for an hour, Zeff sat in a chair, waiting for news on the infant's condition.
"s..." he heard a voice.
"Sir..." he could make it out.
"Sir?" asked a nurse as she nudged him.
Zeff's eyes opened.
"How is the baby?" he asked.
"He is stable." she said. "I'll take you to him."
Zeff nodded as he let the petit nurse lead him to the nursery.
She stopped infront of a small glass basinet.
"Here HE is." she said.
"So...it's a boy?" he asked.
"...I believe that is what HE means..." she sighed.
The baby was hooked up to an I.V. and was under a small cover.
"Isn't that the cover I brought him in?" asked Zeff.
She nodded, in the time he was being examined, i took the time to wash it.
Zeff smiled.
"Thank you for all of your troubles." he said.
"Anything for this little angel." she said.
As if on cue, the baby opened its pure cerulean eyes. He looked over at Zeff and smiled, holding out his hand.
Zeff smiled and offered a finger to the baby.
Then something caught his eye. An embossment on the cover revealed the baby's name.
"I think Sanji fits you perfectly." Zeff smiled as he ruffled what little hair Sanji had.
