The Decision
A/N: Just something funny and cute I thought of when I was watching the old episodes.

It bothered him. He had found the kid days ago and he still couldn't figure it out. The kid was still young so it was hard to tell, but by the looks of it, he guessed that the kid was a girl, but could quite possibly be a boy. He looked down at the small child walking happily beside him. He just couldn't take it anymore!
"Hey kid, what are you?"
The youngster looked at the older man in confusion.
"What do you mean Zabuza-sama?"
"Are you a boy or a girl?"
Haku blinked.
"I'll be whatever ever you want me to be!" The kid replied with a smile.
Zabuza stared at the happy child, frowned and studied the kid's face harder.
"Fine then, you're a boy."
"Okay!" He replied with a smile.
They walked for an hour in silence.
"Zabuza-sama?"
The older man looked down at the boy in response.
"Why did you decide to for me to be a boy?"
Zabuza thought for a moment.
"You'll understand when you're older."
A/N: Very short, but I had to write it! This little scene just repeated in my head over and over again, so I had to write it down. Peace out.
