"The wild west, what can anyone say about it? It's basically the survival of the fitness from the people who are the wealthiest and powerful to the weak and poor. It wasn't a good place to be either because you can be rob for what you have and stay alive or get robbed and die. Though my life is pretty different, My name is Ahsoka Tano, I'm a railroad worker as well the first female because the ones that bought me thought I was weak until I punched one of the men that tried to get close to me. For most of my time I've sweat and got sore everyday I kept working on the tracks, I thought I would die from the heat or from the constant bragging from my boss's manager Grievous, a grey cyborg brute that likes to bully the other workers with his droid thugs. Each day I kept working I felt like I was going lose to it and hit that cyborg with a shovel not caring if I was going to get hung until I met someone, his name was Sparky. He's a robot dog I found who was trying to run away from hunters, I met him when he was hiding in my tent. He was badly hurt as well injured as he wanted to find somewhere to be safe. Noticeable Grievous found him with me and was going scrap him for metal but he saw him as a way to speed up the work on the tracks as he decided to leave him with me but he had to work double, He would always try to cheer me up with something to think that is positive or talking but it doesn't help all the time. Right now me and him where on a rail cart going to check out a quicksand as they were getting tired.
The two were still pumping as the sun was blazing on them, "Ok Ahsoka, what is exactly spikey, a plant and has juice?" Sparky asked her as Ahsoka looked around and see's a cactus and replies "A cactus", "Yeah, your really good at this game" He said to her as she sighs as they kept pumping on the rails the togruta was getting tired. "Mhm, how about we sing a song? It can make the trip faster?", "Sparky, your my friend but I don't think singing is going help us because when we get this done were going to go back to working on that stupid track for that greedy attorney Dooku and keep working until I get dehydrated and die while you rust away" she said as the dog got a bit sad seeing her being serious at the fact that could be true but she notice his look as she simply sighs and speaks to him. "Ok, how about "Camptown ladies?" she suggested as the dog nodded as they began to sing, "Camptown Ladies sing did song, doo-dah!, Doo-Dah!" They began as they kept pumping as suddenly they stopped in the middle of the track. "We stopped" Sparky said to her as slowly they began to sink, "Is it me? Or is the world rising?", "I don't know but I don't like it" Ahsoka said back to him as they went deeper into the ground and stopped. "Ok sparky, I think I got a question. What's is not exactly water and not earth?" she asked as the two looked down as there necks were right at the quicksand as they looked nervous and screamed "Quicksand!" as they soon heard some galloping to the right and saw Grievous and one of his men riding towards them on horses.
"Look's like our scouts were correct that a quicksand pit was here, quick. Get that cart out of the pit" Grievous ordered the droid as he nodded as he pulls out his rope and swings it at the handle pulling the cart out leaving the two workers in the pit as they looked stunned and shocked as griveous chuckled, "Thats good. Cant afford to buy another 400 cart" he said as the two looked worried until sparky felt something, "Ahsoka. I think i feel the bottom. Try to grab my hand" he said as ahsoka tried to but the sand kept her in place, "I can't. This sand is too thick", "Calm yourself, just think of something relaxing" he said as the girl then did so, she saw herself as well sparky at a house where they were relaxing underneath the sun with grievous in a butler suit fanning them as she somehow manage to move her arm to sparky's as she grabs on. The two then slowly got out of the quicksand as they limped out in a struggle as they where covered in the mud as they saw their manager look at them, "Glad to see you all back up, here. Take this" Grievous says to them as he gives them a shovel, "You shouldnt stay there to long. Might get a suntan. For your dog that is since you already got it" he told ahsoka as the two droids laughed as they turn their backs leaving ahsoka chuckling in a manner as she grabs the shovel.
"Ahsoka? What are you doing?", "Something I should have done a long time ago when I started working on this track" she said as she gritted her teeth at grievous getting up as she sneaked behind Grievous as he was talking to the droid, "Alright then, send word to the governor. That I said.." before finishing he he gets hit beside his head with the shovel as he didn't fall as he turns to ahsoka who looked nervous and chuckles innocently like holding the broken shovel, "It broke?" she said as grievous looked angered. "Did you just.." before he could say she turns to the right as a fist hit's grievous right in the face which knocks him out and goes to the droid as he falls on him. "Sparky? what, did you do?", "Something very dangerous as well idiotic. Why do you ask?" Sparky asks looking at her as she slaps her forehead and gives him a stern look, "Sparky, I did that because of what has happened to me. I don't want you to get the rope", "Well I can't let that happen. Your my friend, best friends stick together. You save my life, I save yours, beside's that we could get out of here before grievous wakes, up" he stopes as the two look seeing Grievous's men aiming their guns at the two as they slowly raised there hands in the air as they looked uneasy. "Well, at least will be friends on the other side" she said as the two soon where going to get hung but it was worth it.
Meanwhile in a building, governor Dooku was looking at papers as well the train track going threw the land as Grievous came in with a bruise on his face and a bag of ice on his head, "Greetings Grievous, must I ask what happen to you?" Dooku asked in a polite manner of authority as the manager sat down angered, "I was attack by two rail workers, going hang them outside" he said as dock just shrugged not caring as he soon continued to look at the sheet's of papers as grievous looks as well, "I see your seeing where the tracks lead", "Indeed, once this is complete I'll be able to buy the land and make a fortune and the land will make me rich" he said as he soon points at the town that was circled red. "Unfortunately this town, Corrusantia resides there. If there was a way to make them abandon their town, we can destroy it and finish production", "They are hard headed. Most of the town don't frighten off easy, we sent some hired men but their sheriff always takes them down." Grievous said as suddenly the door knocked as grievous soon walks to the door and opens it to see the mailman. "Hello, I got a mail for the.." before finishing grievous grabs the mail and pushes his face as he closes the door, "What, no tip? The 1847 is supposed to be civilized" the mailman said as he walks away while grievous opens the mail and reads it which made him excited. "What is it?", "The sheriff has lost a deputy, he got shot turning the last of the raids. They need a new one sent right away to help town" he said as Dooku looks at it, "Intriguing, though we could use it to our advantage" he said as he gets up walking to the window looking at the people who were getting hanged.
"Tell me grievous, what do you know about the history of the town" Dooku said as grievous rubs his head thinking "Well, they got good cattle, most of the townspeople are multi species except togruta..." he stops as he soon realizes it as he looks at dock as the attorney looks and smiles. "Exactly, a couple year's back the town would be attacked by a tribe of togruta's, they would rampage as well steal there supplies. If we were to send one into town, they would disperse and leave town" He said coming up with a plan as he looks at the outside, "Now, you said a togruta attacked you. A female togruta with a dog correct?" he asked as he saw Ahsoka and Sparky going to the hangman as they looked nervous. "You want to appoint those two who attack me?! Are you insane?", "No, I'm a man who can see us becoming rich my friend, very rich" he said as he chuckles evil like looking at what he had plans for the two.
At the hanging post the two were looking at the line as they were walking slowly, "So Ahsoka, what do you think will happen on the other side? You think will get angel wings and a halo?" he asks as she looks at him with a look, "Really? wings and a halo? Maybe come up with something more amazing. Like us riding two majestic horses and looking over the land, something like that" she said as soon they where meeting the hangman. "Ah, your quite young to be hang little lady, as well your dog here" he said as she looked at sparky nodding, "Yeah, though it was worth it because soon, maybe not today or tomorrow. But we won't work like this anymore, we will all be treated fairly and be equal" she said as the hangman nodded, "That is something very inspiring little lady, just for that I'll use my softest rope for you and your dog can have the regular" he said as she looked shocked that it didn't made him let her go as he placed the ropes around their necks and goes to the lever.
"See you on the other side Sparks, thanks you being the best of friends" she said as sparky waged his tail replying "Thanks for saving my life, I owe you a lot. I guess I was able to repay you" he said as the two was about to drop until a droid came by and showed the man a letter as he sighs. "Ah great, you two must have a good reason why Dooku want's you alive" he said as he removes the ropes from their necks and hands them to the droid guard as they walk. "What do you think is going on?", "I don't know but don't fall for anything, got it?" she told sparky as he nodded as the two headed to Dooku's office not knowing what he would want from them.
