WOW OKAY I KNOW I SUCK AT UPDATING MY EXISTING STORIES BUT THIS WAS SOMETHING I WROTE A LONG TIME AGO. I wrote this about two years ago, and it didn't start out as an Oliver and Felicity story but since I'm really into Arrow right now, I figured I would just slip it in.

Disclaimer: I don't own the characters

I was about to leave but I wanted to see if you were still here so I could say a final goodbye. I didn't see you anywhere until I was at the doors; I spotted your light brown hair. You had your back turned to me so I walked over and tapped you on the shoulder and ask if we could talk.

You said, "Sure".

I asked you to come outside with me. I sat down and patted the spot next to me gesturing for you to sit. I started off with, "you're probably wondering why I wanted to talk to you after all these years".

You nodded your head simply.

I asked you rhetorically, "remember when we used to be friends? I don't where we went wrong. We've been friends since the day we met but yet we always go from friends to not talking to each other at all. Until grade 9 spring… After that we never talked again. I acted as if it didn't bother me but you never made the effort to try and talk to me. I missed having you as a friend, you know?"

You asked, "why now?"

I just shrugged and said, "I don't know, I guess I wanted to get it off my chest and talk to you after our friendship ended three years ago."

You said, "Okay"

I don't know why but the lack of words spoken from you and just nodding your head makes my heart drop. Maybe I was hoping we'd be friends again but it wasn't realistic.

I didn't know what else to say so I told you my flight for the west coast leaves tomorrow night and I won't be back in four years.

I don't even know why I told you, you're probably going to stay here or head off to the east coast.

You said, "Have a safe trip and good luck."

You didn't even look at me when you said it, the whole time; you were looking at your shoes or the parking lot in front of us.

I said thanks.

I got up and walked away.

From our broken friendship…

Leave me some reviews on whether you liked it or not, keep in mind that this was written two years ago. Constructive criticism is welcomed, but none of that negative nancy attitude. Please and thanks :)

For those of you who follow my stories on hiatus, I am so sorry. I'm literally the worst person ever at updating but hopefully these little one-shot updates make up for it a little bit.
