This one is set during the events of the last episode when Yaya is sulking in her room. That scene is honestly cute and often forgotten about

Very fluffy and cute

Yaya and Tsubomi sat in silence together as they watched the snow fall heavily outside. The world being covered in a gentle blanket of white, the blue sky hidden under a sheet of grayish silver. The pleasantness of spring and the green of the trees and grounds were gone, hidden by the darkness of the sky and the mountains of snow.

Maybe it was their emotions or the heartbreak in many hearts that was causing the weather to reflect their feelings. The sadness of unrequited love or having to break up with your loved one. Though she carried her own pain, she had heard the rumours of Shizuma the Etoile breaking up with Nagisa as she was to pair up with her best friend Tamao.

Though she tended to remain neutral on most matters as it avoided trouble, she would always express what was on her mind when need be. She knew that Tamao had been crushing on Tamao since day one, it was clear that like herself and Hikari. Her feelings were one sided and Nagisa couldn't see her that way, as her heart also belonged to another.

However, compared to Tamao, she had someone to act as her support and help her during this time. While Tamao had only students who admired her, not anyone who was held romantic feelings for her. She felt lucky to have someone like that, as it made moments like this easier to bear with. Not having to handle her problems all on her own.

They were wrapped tightly in blankets from Yaya's bed, as the cold outside was now affecting the room. The heating in their room had not yet been turned on so they had to make do. It was now the end of the etoile position; the winners having been chosen by the ex-etoile and student council. Everyone would be celebrating over whomever had been chosen to control the schools.

There was no doubt in Yaya's mind that Amane and Hikari would be sharing a room after today. The two were in a relationship and it would make things easier for them in terms of work. Though she would hopefully be able to see Hikari at choir, their time together had been shortened more than ever. Deep down being separated from Hikari saddened her.

She started out of the window with a heavy gaze, watching the snow fall around the school grounds. Her mind wondering and so many thoughts and feelings rushing through her body. She was still hurting, at the fact that her love would never be accepted or returned. While conflicted that she had lost her best friend and they wouldn't be able to see each other as often.

She was her best friend after all, someone she cared for deeply even if they could never be together in the way she wanted. She had finally given up her love for Hikari, as much as it hurt to let her go. Her angel was never meant to be hers. She was growing up in the fact she was letting Hikari have her happiness even if it wasn't with her. But it was still painful to accept.

However, the silence was to be short lived. Her companion breaking the silence unintentionally as she was lost to the world of dreams. Tsubomi then mumbled quietly under her breath, leaning against Yaya like a makeshift pillow. She had fallen asleep on Yaya after a while but was surprisingly quiet compared to usual. She had kept Yaya company in the room until she couldn't keep her eyes open anymore. Having pushed herself in order to cheer up her senpai to help her recover from her internal conflict.

"Yaya senpai" she muttered under her breath sleepily. As she spoke these words, she curled up into a tighter position and scrunched her face slightly. A strand of her pink hair falling across her shoulder. Giving her an air of innocence and allure about her, her sleeping face bringing out a sense of desire in Yaya. Her guard down and open to be attacked.

Yaya blinked in surprise, having not expected this at all. Tsubomi was dreaming about her? She knew the younger female idolized Hikari, but she seemed to always act awkwardly around her. Seems there were a few things that Tsubomi wasn't being so honest about. But then again, she did find it adorable at how stubborn Tsubomi tended to be.

She then sighed heavily and pulled more blanket over Tsubomi, so she didn't get cold. When she shared a bed with Hikari in the past when she had a nightmare, she often told her she hogged the blankets. It was cold outside and she couldn't be selfish, she knew if she did so that Tsubomi would only chew her ear off about it later on.

Deep down, she was immensely grateful for all the things Tsubomi had done for her. Spending time with her even when she got irritable and short with her. Truth be told, she was lonelier than she let on. Though she didn't appreciate Tsubomi being cheeky, she wad glad the younger female was stubborn enough to worry about her. Usually, not many people could see behind her façade of a fake smile.

She needed to thank Tsubomi for her kindness, she had done so much that it would be rude not to do so. Maybe they could have a tea party together, just the two of them. It would help warm them up given the snow. Maybe they could get sponge cake or cookies from somewhere, a few of their friends from Miator were rather good at cooking after all.

But that would have to wait until later for the time being. She wouldn't be able to move for a while as Tsubomi was fast asleep. She doubted anything she would do would wake her up, as she was a heavy sleeper. But she was in no rush, she could worry about moving or preparing later on. It had been a long day for the both of them, very emotionally draining on her half and she could use the rest.

A fond smile slowly began to form on her face and she leaned against Tsubomi slowly. Still watching the snow fall around them. Her eyes slowly growing heavy as she felt her exhaustion get the better of her. She slowly reached out and placed her hand over Tsubomi's gently. She felt comforted by her presence, the softness of her skin reminding her of a peach. "Sweet dreams Tsubomi" she muttered. Before finally closing her eyes and escaping into dreams.
