Disclaimer – This is the first of Wattpad actions Write to Rank challenge which is comprised of nine rounds. The first round, White Belt, consisted of writing a 100-word story which captured a moment in mid-action. I'm working with the theory that Terry is not Bruce's son, but Dick's instead, yet nobody knows this. Everyone assumes Nightwing, and as an extension Dick, is dead, but they're also unaware that Terry is related to Dick. As such, Wally doesn't take Terry replacing Dick – which is how he sees Terry taking on the mantle of Batman as – not well. The words at the beginning are Wally's.

Terry's eyes narrowed, watching the video of Nightwing bending over backward to dodge the first assailant's blow, before moving into a handstand before helicoptering his legs out to kick both men. With quick grace, the vigilante moved to sweeping the first off his feet before sliding with ease between the second man's legs, causing him to go off balance. From behind, Nightwing ran up the wall with effortlessness, doing a quadruple backflip followed by another kick sending the man crashing down into his partner.
Terry rewound the video, observing, and hoping to learn by observation.
