So, I guess this is nostalgia week for me. :P

In my author's note for Titans, Forever, I mentioned other friends.

One particular friend being ctj. Coincidentally it's been five years since I discovered her work as well. Probably my favorite of her works is My Roof, My Rules, although I've read and thoroughly enjoyed the heck out of nearly all of her stuff.

Because of MRMR, I was inspired to create some form of visual adaptation of it (still working on it, btw. :P), and through searching for people to work on it with me, because I needed artists cause I can't draw a proper stick figure, I was lead to meet the woman who would become my wife.

Needless to say, I owe a lot to ctj, and am happy to also be able call her a good friend, and someone I've been able to talk to about writing, and just life in general.

Thank you, C.

And as Nim likes to remind you, I own nothing.

He looked at the beautiful girl in front of him, wondering how he could have gotten so lucky to be marrying her.

"Ahem, Shad, I said 'do you take Ilia to be your lawfully wedded wife?'" Bo, the mayor of Orion said.

"Oh! Absolutely yes, yes I do!"

Ilia smiled at him, and whispered through her teeth, " It's about time."

He smiled back, and kissed her as he was told.

You could hear Telma and Mildred cheering over everyone else, and Rusl clapped him on the back.

He felt Auru's presence there, and wished he could have been there, but felt like he was... in a way.

He knew Ilia wanted Link and Ashei to be there, but was understanding that they couldn't and sent their best wishes.

They had given the newlywed couple a surprising gift; a honeymoon to Calatia, a kingdom over the mountain range that bordered on the sea.

Thanking the two fervently in his mind, he kissed his wife again.

His wife.

He was looking forward to getting used to saying that.

The next few hours were a blur, going through the reception, and packing the wagon for their trip across the mountains.

Finally, as twilight was falling, they settled into place beside each other, and she spoke up with a tired sigh,

"Shad, I love you. Let's go relax, yeah?"

He chuckled a bit, noting that she finished her sentence like their friend would.

"I love you too, Ilia. I think that sounds like a capital idea."

C, I hope you like it.

Thank you for everything, including writing several of what I consider to be the best writings. Ever.

TL205 out, PEACE,
