Welcome back everyone! Top to the morn' in to ya! Happy St. Patrick's Day! So, I wanted to have a little more conversation between both Wally and Barry back at the house after Henry's funeral.

I added a little twist on Wally's character to make him a little on the edge after all the drama he was thrown into! Also, tell me if you want to see what Wally's reactions were to when Barry revealed himself! Please review! ENJOY!

Guilty

Wally felt downright guilty. He had never once thought that Barry Allen, was the Flash! Looking over, when he saw him peering outside at the dark sky, he looked like a complete stranger.

He had to admit things would have to be different. Even on his own part. Wally didn't know how to approach him, to even begin apologizing. Of course, Barry's dealt with his mother's death, so has he, but now his father. Wally couldn't imagine!

What could be on his mind at that moment. Could he even be able to comprehend what happened just so suddenly? He's been carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders for years, the whole time he's known him, and Wally didn't even notice the pain and anger Barry's been keeping within himself for so long. Would Barry ever forgive him?

When Zoom had took Henry away, Barry's eyes looked as though they would explode. Tiny pieces of his light, his optimism was being taken away piece by piece leaving him feel all hollowed out inside. He hadn't known Barry for long, he didn't know what he was like before the particle accelerator explosion, but everyone always talked about how fun and happy Barry was. And he knew, no one starts dark.

They're manipulated into taking the dark side, the side leaving you filled with sorrow, hatred, hurt and maybe even uncontrollable power.

Iris, Joe, all the close people in his life believe in him. Believe that Barry can make it out strong. Wally does want to help Barry out, but he, on second thought, was having doubts. Would Barry stand tall or will it had been the last straw where he snaps? Would he do something he will regret?

As he hates to admit it, family is weakness. Something all villains take advantage of because without love and support, you're done for, you'd have nothing to fight for.

With hesitation, Wally made his way over to where Barry stood. "Hey," he started slowly. Barry turned to face him with a blank expression on his face. "I, uh, thought maybe you should eat something..."

"I'm not hungry. Thank you though," Barry said. Wally placed the food onto the table and blinked hard. What should he say? What did he have to say?

"Barry, um..." Barry looked up. "I had no idea you were the flash. All you've done for me and the city, with Zoom and your dad, I'm so sorry..." Before Barry could step in, Wally continued, "Back at the house, when King Shark was attacking, you disappeared, and my first instinct was that you hid. But you risked your life to stop him and I called you a coward..."

"Wally, you didn't know. Don't blame yourself."

He took a pause before adding on, "It's just, I don't understand, how do you deal with all this pressure twenty-four seven? Living through all these dark times in your life, these tragedies."

Barry frowned. "I'm no god Wally. I'm not perfect. Running faster than the speed of sound doesn't protect you from pain or grief. I've learned, the hard way that these memories make you stronger."

"But, doesn't it just tear you down?"

Barry bit his lip, "you know, someone once told me, "for every bad memory, there is a good one that will get you through it." There was a moment of silence. "I'm not saying it's easy, but over the years I've learned nothing is impossible, only if you think it's impossible."

"I owe you much more than an apology, but I am truly sorry and if you need anything, just say the word." Barry nodded and they parted.

'Barry was right,' Wally thought. 'If anything can get them through this, it was being together, lifting each other up when they fall, sticking together and hoping everything will be all right in the end. Because even though family can be your weakness, it's also your inner strength.'

Authors Note -

Thank you for reading! Tell me what you think. I just had a feeling Wally wanted to let more out in the conversation, but it was hard when everyone's mourning. I'd love to have suggestions on new stories! Hope you enjoyed!
