The Start of Something New
Chapter 1: Big News
Somewhere in the Bavarian Alps, Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable finished climbing up a huge cliff and came upon a chain-link fence.
"KP, why did we have to climb those cliffs instead of taking a direct approach to Dementor's lair like we did during our search for Cousin Larry a few months ago?" Ron groaned.
Kim sighed, "Ron, I told you we have to be sneaky this time."
"Figures," Ron muttered.
Suddenly, Kim started hearing mysterious voices.
"Get down!" Kim whispered.
She and Ron ran and ducked behind a nearby bush and watched as two of Dementor's henchmen walk by.
After the henchmen walked by, Kim and Ron ran up to the chain-link fence, cut a hole in it, and continued to make their way to Professor Dementor's castle.
Later, Kim and Ron have managed to slip their way past the rest of Dementor's henchmen guarding the outside of the castle and make it to the castle's outside wall.
"Aw man, why didn't we take the path to the front entrance?" Ron groaned.
Kim turned to Ron and gave him a glare.
Ron noticed this and asked, "What?"
Kim shook her head, "Never mind."
She then pulled Ron in closer to her, pulled out her grappler gun, pointed it upward, and fired. The grappler caught the top of the wall, and pulled them up until they were on top.
But after they made it to the top, they accidently ran into more of Dementor's henchmen.
The henchmen turned to face them and charge at them with electric staffs.
"Let me try something," Ron said.
He then closed his eyes, pulled Kim in closer to her, jumped high over the henchmen and landed in front of an entryway into the castle which happened to have been on the other side of the henchmen. Ron then opened his eyes, revealing that they were blue, which meant he has tapped into the Mystical Monkey Power like he did at graduation all those months ago.
Kim soon noticed the henchmen turning around and converging on her and Ron.
Ron took notice of the henchmen before holding out his hands, pulling them back and pushing them forward.
At the same time, Ron, made those moves with his arms, the electric staffs were suddenly pulled out of the hands of the henchmen and pushed back into them, shocking them into unconsciousness.
"Wow," Kim commented. "Where did you learn to do that?"
Ron shrugged his shoulders as his eyes returned to normal, "I probably thought of that move out of thin air."
"Let's go," Kim said.
Ron nodded before he and Kim entered the entryway they were near and into the castle.
Inside the castle, Professor Dementor was looking over his handy work.
"Finally!" He shouted in excitement. "I have finished ze modifications to my Counter-Electrodynamic Concentrator! I vill now be able to take control of ze veather and rule ze vorld vithout having to buy, let alone use a veather machine!"
Then, out of the corner of his right eye, he saw a henchman walked up to him holding a plate with a cup of hot coco on it.
Dementor turned to the henchman, took the cup of coco off the plate with his right hand, drank it, and put in back on the plate.
"Thank you," Dementor said.
The henchman saluted before turning around and walking away.
Just then, Dementor heard the door get knocked down.
He turned to the direction of the door and saw two faces he didn't want to see.
"Kim Possible!" Dementor exclaimed. "And ze buffoon!"
"You won't get away with this, shorty!" Kim yelled at Dementor.
"Get Zem!" Dementor shouted.
The henchmen present in the room saluted before advancing upon Kim and Ron.
Kim and Ron got into fighting stance before noticing more henchmen arrive through the door they just knocked down.
"Ready?" Kim asked Ron.
Ron nodded, "Ready."
Ron let out a war cry before he and Kim took action.
Two henchmen tried to catch Ron in a pincer movement, but Ron jumped up and caused them to plow into each other.
Kim saw a henchman coming right at her and did a forward hand-spring into it, causing the henchman to plow back into a couple of his cohorts.
Ron quickly noticed a couple henchmen charging in at him with electric staffs. Right when the henchmen were close, Ron got down and unleashed a round-house kick, tripping the henchmen and causing them to let go of their electric staffs. He then managed to grab hold of both staffs and turned to Kim.
"Kim!" Ron shouted. "Catch!"
After kicking a henchman, Kim heard Ron's words and turned to him before he tossed her an electric staff. Kim caught the staff and noticed a henchman raising his electric staff, ready to strike. She quickly swung her staff and knocked the henchman's staff out of his hands before giving him a good whack, knocking him out.
Suddenly, four henchmen surrounded, Ron, and were about ready to pounce. Ron swung his staff around really fast and hit each henchman as they jumped at him one at a time.
Kim quickly knocked down a couple more henchmen when suddenly, and without warning, she was hit by an electric staff. She fell to the ground and landed on her back.
Ron noticed this and shouted, "KP!"
A henchman was about to attack, Ron, from behind, but Ron anticipated the move and took him down. He then turned his attention to another henchman that was about to shove an electric staff into Kim's chest. Ron gasped at what he saw before becoming angry. His eyes turned blue again as he felt the Mystical Monkey Power build up inside of him. He then leapt toward the henchman, did a flip, and kicked him before he could strike Kim. Ron then managed to pick Kim up and pull her away.
After quickly pulling her away and setting her down, Ron noticed the henchmen that were knocked down getting up and running at him. He used telekinesis to make his staff float and spin before sending it into each henchman and knocked them unconscious.
His eyes returned to their usual brown as he saw Kim get back up.
"Are you okay, KP?" Ron asked.
Kim nodded, "I'm alright, Ron."
Then, Kim and Ron quickly noticed, Dementor, activate the modified Counter-Electrodynamic Concentrator.
Suddenly, a beam shot from the machine into the sky and dark clouds started to form and shoot lightning.
"He built a weather machine?!" Ron asked in disbelief.
"Correction, buffoon," Dementor said. "I modified my Counter-Electrodynamic Concentrator into creating veather. It is currently going to unleash lightning all over ze vorld!"
Kim and Ron turned to each other, nodded, turned back toward Dementor, and did forward hand-springs towards him.
Dementor noticed this. But before he could react, he was knocked backwards into a small table he kept his coco maker on and found himself covered in hot coco!
"Ahhhh…hot hot hot!" Dementor exclaimed.
Kim shut off the modified Counter-Electrodynamic Concentrator and soon, the lightning stopped and the clouds dissipated, clearing up the nighttime sky and saving the world.
"It's over, Dementor," Kim said to the inane Bavarian.
"Your plan has failed," Ron added.
Dementor got back up and turned to Ron, "I forget who you are, but I zought you vere a terrible fighter."
"It's Ron Stoppable," Ron pointed out. "I use to stink at fighting, but now I've stepped up, monkey style."
"Monkey style?" Dementor asked. "Vhat's zat?"
"You had to have been at my graduation," Was all Ron said.
"And I had to have run," Dementor said as he turned and ran.
Kim used the grappler in her wrist Kimmunicator to grab Dementor and pull him back.
"You're not getting away, shorty," Kim taunted.
Later, Kim and Ron watched as German authorities took Dementor and his henchmen away.
"Well, KP, I guess that's that," Ron said with confidence in his voice.
"Unless another mission comes up," Kim groaned. "We've been going on more and more missions since the Lorwardian Invasion."
Ever since the Lorwardian Invasion, supervillains have taken advantage of the carnage to pull of evil plots. With military and law enforcement resources destroyed or stretched thin across the globe, the surviving world leaders once more turned to Team Possible to counter anything that would threaten efforts to recover from the Lorwardian Invasion. Even though Drakken and Shego going straight took some of the load off, it wasn't enough.
"Let's go home," Ron suggested. "I feel like marinating."
Kim nodded, "Me too, Ron, me too."
After that was said, Kim and Ron boarded a helicopter which took them back to the Sloth which was parked miles away.
Later, Kim and Ron pulled into the drive-way of the newly rebuilt Possible house and climbed out of the Sloth.
"Are you ready to marinate some more before our next mission?" Ron asked.
Kim nodded, "More than ready."
After that was said, the two teens walked to the front door and entered the house.
Just as they entered the house, they found James and Ann standing by the stairs.
"Mom, Dad?" Kim asked.
"Drs. P?" Ron added.
"Kimmie," Ann spoke.
"Ronald," James added.
Ron gasped, "Oh no, someone in the family has died!"
"Ronald, calm down, nobody died," James assured Ron.
"So, what's the sitch?" Kim asked.
"Kimmie," Ann said, getting Kim and Ron's attention. "Your father and I have some big news."
"What?" Kim asked.
Ann took a deep breath, "Earlier today, James and I found out I'm pregnant."
