Hello there. This is a fanfic based off a roleplay I'm doing with a friend of mine. Its done out of boredom and the fact that I'm still have DW withdrawls. This is a Doctor x OC fic. It takes place nearly six months after The Angels Take Manhattan. It is an Alternate Universe fic. This is not being beta'd by anyone. All mistakes are my own.
When I woke up that morning I hadn't been expecting a man with a bow tie to be running in the field behind my house. A metal person followed him. They were running at me. I was so confused when the bow tie man turned to me and hollered a simple word, "Run!" I did what I was told without even thinking about it and soon we were running side by side towards a blue box that looked like an old phone booth or something. As we got closer, I saw the words Police Box written on it. Never in my life had I seen something like this before. We didn't have police boxes in Texas.
The bow tie man ran to the door and opened it wide. I ran inside without even thinking. "Oh my." Was all I could say. I was immediately entranced by the size of this box. I heard him chuckle as I turned around in a circle.
"Everyone reacts that way the first time."
I knew I must have looked confused but he just smiled at me. Before I could ask him anything, he turned his back to me and began to throw switches on the large console in the middle of the room. An odd noise filled the room causing me to look from side to side. Where was that coming from? Finally, I turned to look at the bow tie man. "Who are you?" I asked him as I walked over to stand next to him.
"I'm the Doctor."
"Doctor who?"
He just grinned at me. The room was once more filled with an odd noise and he clapped his hands together. "Right. Let's go now...Uhm...What was your name again?"
I shook my head. This Doctor was a strange man. "I'm Dallas."
"Ah right. Let's go Dallas. We have things to do and people to see!"
He took me by the hand and pulled me towards the door. When he opened it, I gasped. We weren't in Texas anymore...
