~Chapter one~

As Lilo watched the waves roll over the horizon, she noticed that she wasn't alone. "Lilo!" an excited voice called, -Ah, Stitch- she thought, without turning around. Stitch then eventually made it to her, and sat down beside her, gently putting his head on her shoulder. Stitch then grabbed, held her hand, and they both watched the sunset.
Lilo recently turned 17, same with Stitch-according to her. The party was held for both of them, and it was short and sweet. They both had a blast. As they continued to watch the sunset go down, Lilo suddenly jumped up, knocking Stitch off her shoulder. "I FORGOT ABOUT THE LUAU TOMORROW!," and started running. Stitch too, ran after her.
When they arrived back at the house, Lilo ahead, Stitch in tow, they ran up the stairs and into their room. But not after Nani yelling. "You guys! You're late for supper again! And Lilo, you forgot about the Luau tomm-" Stitch slammed the door. While Lilo threw on her hula skirt, and tried to desperately practice her moves. Silently, Stitch to decided to get up help her practice.
After a thirty minute montage. They decided that was all the practice she could get, and headed downstairs. Nani was sitting at the table, looking cross. "Lilo.." she started, "I know, Nani." Then Nani said, while Lilo mocked "You are supposed to be on time for supper, so that we can be a family." Stitch and Lilo sat down, pilling cold food on their plates. Nani then sat down next to Lilo, looking at her with concern. Lilo stuffs her face, then realizes that Nani was staring at her, so she looked back.
