It was a typical Friday night for Sam Evans and Kurt Hummel, chilling on Kurt's couch, watching the trashiest show they could find, except tonight Finn, Carole, and Burt were out. Sam and Kurt had been left alone tonight, sitting as far apart as two people can while still sitting on the same couch. There's an obvious tension in the air, the conversation not flowing as smoothly as usual. Both Kurt and Sam stare vacantly at the TV as a commercial from a car dealership plays. As the cheesy music from the car commercial fades, a new commercial appears on the screen. It's an ad for Chips Ahoy! with an all too familiar tune after last Saturday. Kurt starts to sing along.

Don't you want me baby

He is quickly joined by Sam.

Don't you want me oooooooooh

Hearing Sam singing along, Kurt turns to face Sam. Sensing the shift in weight on the other end of the sofa, Sam twists his body so he is looking at Kurt.

Don't you want me baby

Don't you want me oooooooooh

Sam and Kurt were gravitating towards each other as if they were the positive and negative charges of a magnet.

Don't you want me baby

Don't you want me oooooooooh

(Even though the last line is cut off in the commercial, Sam and Kurt finish the line, they were in some sort of trance, they've forgotten there was even a commercial.)

Frozen in their places practically nose to nose, a not quite awkward yet not completely normal silence fell over the two boys. Sam attempted to break the silence but it seemed Sam has bad timing.

"S-"

As Sam began to speak, Kurt pounced on him, closing the distance between them quickly, smashing their lips together in a hard, passionate kiss. Kurt threaded hi fingers through Sam's obviously dyed hair. Soon, needing air, the two boys bark apart, panting.

"You-?"

"I didn't know you…?"

"I do," they said simultaneously, wide grins spreading across their faces.

Sam threw his arm over Kurt's shoulder and Kurt placed his head on Sam's toned chest, snuggling as close as possible as their show came back on.

THE END.
