There Is No Forever

It's not fair.

Macy's my girlfriend. We were on a break, but we were supposed to get together today.

Now.

We were going to make lists for everything. We would've done everything.

Love is too risky. I knew that. I thought she did.

But then she says something about stuff that wouldn't fit! What does that mean? I asked her to explain, and she didn't say anything.

Then her sister asked her about the junk. She just freezes, stares at it, and says,

"It's so she can fly." Then she ran.

I didn't know she was that fast! She runs to a dark-haired boy who's at her catering job- what was his name? Will? No, Wes- and says something. He says something else, and I hear her say "This."

Then she kisses him.

I just stare and stare, and I say to myself,

It's not fair.
