'My head is pounding,' he thought as he splashed cool water over his face 'like a hammer to my brain.'
Lazard Deusericus leaned over the bathroom sink weary of his surroundings.
Where am I?
Shinra HQ, Floor 52 men's bathroom. That's right, he remembered.
Deusericus remained calm, collective and polished despite the intensifying pressures and demands of SOLIDER. His frustrations with the increasing responsibility were second to his duty. His bitter-tasting sweat went into everything for the program, for the better of the company, but it didn't matter anymore. The old man never noticed his efforts or hard work; he didn't even acknowledge who he was.
His other son.
Lazard stared at his reflection in the mirror. He often wondered if he removed his glasses and cut his hair would they be identical? The uncanny resemblance between him and Rufus Shinra was overlooked. Or did the President find a way to hide the dark secret from everyone in headquarters? It didn't matter. He was never jealous of the pretentious twenty something brat until now. The little rat that leaked the company's information to AVALANCHE still became Vice President. Everything that Lazard longed for, everything he sought-after since he worked his way up in ranks at Shinra.
Two can play at that game.
His heart was pounding. His skin was now cold from the water. Goosebumps prickled on his arms. Lazard looked pale. Ghastly and wan. The secret proposal that Hollander and Genesis were plotting would be executed at midnight. He wouldn't stop it. He was apart of it, all worth the revenge against the old man.
'Maybe I'll cut my hair tonight,' he thought leering 'or perhaps not. The old man may not be able to figure out which of his two son's betrayed him this time. After all, there are two 'I's in identical.'

A/N: There is not enough love for Lazard here, let alone he barely has any fics! -_- (Maybe I just like the Shinra brothers a bit too much?)
I didn't want to submit this one right away, but I need to get some opinions/feedback. I'm planning on writing a much more detailed and longer fic for him, consider this a test run? ;-) PLEASE let me know what you think. R&R is always appreicated.
