(THIS IS SET IN THE ONCE MORE UPON THE BREACH world)
May 15th 1965
San Francisco, Liberion
It was a normal spring day in the city by the bay and it was no different for a set of quadruplets as they sat in their class in high school. They were Alexei, Katyusha, Peter and Khatijah and they were listening eagerly to the history class as it was on the Second Neuroi War. The teacher was talking about the politics and diplomacy adopted during the war.
"This is so boring..." A classmate groaned while flapping her wings in exasperation, "Why do we need to know this anyways?"
"Yeah, when we will get to see the battles and the heroes?" Another chimed in,
"Quiet down Peterson and Gregory, wars are not all about the fame and glory" The teacher scolded. Alexei could not help but sigh in annoyance at his classmates' false impressions of war. He and his siblings knew better.
"These idiots, they think war is a sport." Katyusha grumbled.
"Well sis, you can't really blame them, they have never seen war or what it can do to people." Peter said.
"Yeah but still, they should war isn't all that cool." Katyusha said, "If mom were here they would set these civvies straight."
"Speaking of mom, I wonder how she is over in Tokyo, must be real busy over there." Khatijah said.
"I miss mom, it has been a while since we seen her." Peter said.
"We all do but you know how things are." Alexei said, "She has a duty to do and we have to support her."
"Yeah I know but I wished she was around more." Peter said. Just then there was a knock on the door and the teacher headed to the door to see who it was and the class was surprised to see the teacher's expression changed from annoyed to absolute shock.
"Who's at the door, I wonder." Alexei said.
"Must be someone important." Khatijah suggested.
"But to make Miss Jones be that shocked?" Peter asked.
"Maybe it is someone she didn't expect to show up." Alexei said.
"C-Class, it seems we have a special guest today." Miss Jones said nervously as she stepped away from the door and Alexei and his three siblings could not believe their eyes as a high ranking military officer walks into the class but that was not the reason that shocked them, it was who that shocked them.
"Well morning everyone, I am Air Chief Marshal Lady Amirah Aisyah Sulaiman Royal Air Force, now my question is, where are my children?" Amirah smiled as she swung her arms open.
"MOM!" Alexei and his three siblings shouted as they ran to the front and hugged their mother.
"My god, you lot are big, what has Ember been feeding you?" Amirah laughed as she hugged all four of them.
"I thought you were still in Fuso." Alexei said.
"I was but I came back just to see my children." Amirah said.
"I missed you so much mom." Katyusha buried her head into Amirah's chest with tears in her eyes.
"I missed you too, Katyusha, I missed all of you." Amirah said as her eyes also began to water as she embraced all of her children there in class, she then turns to Miss Jones, "I am sorry but I fear I might have to take my children home early today."
"It's alright, ma'am, your children deserve the day off." Miss Jones smiled.
"Thank you." Amirah smiled, "Come now, go get your bags, we need to tell your other siblings the good news."
"Yes mum." Alexei and Peter said as they went ahead and grabbed all four of the their bags. And the five soon left to see the rest of their siblings.
