First Year:Mid-October
"Scor! Why are you holding Rose's hand?" Albus demanded, glaring at his two best friends.
Scorpius looked down and seemed surprised to notice that he and Rose were holding hands.
"Rose, why are you holding my hand?" he asked, sounding slightly confused.
"'Cause I felt like it. Is there something wrong with that?" she asked innocently.
"Yes there is! Teddy said that at school, you can only hold hands with someone if they're your boyfriend or girlfriend!" Albus half-shouted.
Scorpius blinked, then looked as though he was thinking hard about something. Before Albus or Rose could ask him what he was thinking about, he let go of Rose's hand and grabbed Albus's.
"You're my boyfriend now," he declared. "C'mon, let's go to dinner." Scorpius dragged Albus off to the Great Hall, leaving Rose to wonder what on earth just happened.
The pair almost ran into Colin on their way. Before they disappeared around the next corner, Colin took a picture of them with his new camera, thinking that he could give the picture to the couple after he had it developed.
