Authur's Note: Obviously I do not own Sailor Moon. I do, obviously, own the other characters.
Chapter 1: The Last Hope
Donna looked around. Her best friend, Amelia Johnson, was snoring in the seat next to her. Their teacher, Mr. Hardcoe, was blabbering on about World War 11. Donna looked down at the drawing she was doing. It was Sailor Moon, Donna's hero. Donna was a brilliant artist, but she didn't like to show it. Amelia was really the only one who knew. The bell rang. Donna started packing up her stuff, and woke Amelia up.
"O.k, class, read chapter 14, and write a 200 word essay. Due on monday," He said, and the class filed out. At their lockers, they started talking.
"Is it at your house this week?" Donna asked. Every week, Donna, Amelia and their good friend Belle have a sleepover. They always dress up as sailor scouts. Donna always loved Sailor Moon, Amelia was Sailor Mars, and Belle was Sailor Jupiter.
"I dunno. Have you talked to Belle since it happened?" Amelia asked. Last weekend, they had stayed at Belle's house, and Belle's mother had burnt her brother's hand on the stove on purpose. The other girls weren't ment to of seen it, Belle had explained, but Belle hadn't been to school since. The girls were starting to get worried.
"No. I think we should go over there this afternoon. What do you think?" Donna asked, and Amelia agreed. So they put away their books, grabbed their bags and walked over to Belle's house.
When they got there, Belle's brother was playing outside.
"Belle is bad, Belle is sick, and now her friends have played a trick. Don't you think that's mean?" he said, as the girls walked into the yard.
"What are you talking about, Andrew?" Donna asked.
"You will find out soon enough. YOU'VE GOT TO STOP PLAYING GAMES!" He started yelling. The girls stepped away from Andrew. He just sat on the ground and started shaking. The girls slowly edged passed him and into the house.
Inside, Belle's mother was stirring something in a pot.
"Hello, girls. Belle is up in her room. She will love to see you, she has been sick all week," she said, as if nothing was wrong. The girls headed up the stairs. Belle's room was right at the top of the stairs. They opened the door. There was Belle laying on the floor. The girls rushed over to her, but realised they were too late. Belle's cat Moonshine, who had been sitting on the bed, suddenly jumped off and ran over to Donna.
"Donna, we've got to get out of here," Amelia said, pointing the obvious. She looked at the open window.
"Come on," Donna said, and she picked up Moonshine and ran over to the window and started climbing down the drain pipe. She jumped down when she got to the bottom, and looked back up at Amelia. She knew Amelia was afraid of heights, but this was not the time.
"Come on, Amelia! Either you jump down now, or you stay up there and probally get captured be Belle's mum!" She yelled. Amelia hesitated before climbing down the drain pipe. They ran out the front, where Andrew was still laying on the grass.
"Don't let yourself get carried away, Moonshine! She needs you!" he yelled. The girls just kept running. Finally they reached Amelia's house, Moonshine still in Donna's arms.
"What just happened?" Amelia asked, panting.
"I can tell you that," said a voice. The two girls looked down. Moonshine was looking up at them.
"No. You didn't just talk." Donna said.
"Yes, I did. And now you're going to have to put me down, before I scratch your eyes out." Donna quickly put the cat down.
"Now, shall we go inside? I will explain all in a few moments," the cat said, and Amelia went and opened the door, and they all walked inside.
