I walked into my new school, Jeremiah East Public School. I have never been to a public school before, because I have always been at a private school, ever since kindergarten till now, in Year 5. This place is big, not as big as my old school, but where do I go? My mum said to go straight to the office and tell them you are new. So I went into the office and sitting there are other girls, "Um… hi…are you guys new?" I say as I stutter as I am very shy. The girl with black cat glasses and brown chocolate hair in a bun says "well yeah we are, I'm Kathleen and this is Adeline. Who are you?" she asks curiously. I look at her intently, happy that I am making new friends "My name is Erica Smith, what year are you two in, I'm in year 5." I say quizzically while sitting down. "Oh so your in Year 5 too! Cool, so are we, I hope we are in the same class." Adeline says to me, finally lifting her head up from her book she was sketching in. I finally saw what Adeline was drawing,a fabulous fashion style, which I had never seen before, it looked a little bit like the uniform, but modernised." Oh.. that looks nice Adeline, oops I'm sorry I didn't mean to pry." I say just noticing that she has snatched her book closer to her chest.
"Hello girls, come, sit, I'm Miss Holinan,and I will be taking care of you till you get split up to you year classes, as I was say…" the teacher trailed off to the next group of people. "So we might not be in the same class?" I say to the girls as we go to sit in the back row, all next to each other of course. After awhile of waiting, and writing, the recess bell went, we walked outside before Adeline went off to the library and Kathlyn went to the girl, Shanel who invited her over to hang out with her. I decided to go from the bathroom to the library to meet up with Adeline. As I walked under a small archway, I bumped into somebody,oh no, I was thinking, this is super embarassing."I'm sorry," I say as I clear my voice, looking up to see a boy, with rich brown hair which was slightly curled, brown eyes and spectacular freckles on his cheeks." No worries, its alright, are you ok?" he says to me giving me his hand so he could help me up."I'm fine thanks…" I say blushing as he helps me up." Where are you going?" He says to me before I rush off. " I'm going to the library, just to meet up with my friend…" I explain as I go to walk there." Oh I am too, can I come with you?" he says as catches up with me."Sure, why not?" I express as we walk down the pathway.
I found out this boy's name is Ryan, he is really sweet and kind to me and also funny." Hey we should hang out at eating time." He supposed to me." Eating time?" I say, not understanding what it was." Yeah, you know when you eat for five minutes and then you go and play at first and second half?" He said with a quizzical look on his face. " um actually I have never been to a public school my whole life." I stated."Oh so home schooled?" he reports still looking at me quizzically." Actually, no, I went to a private school, ya know the preppy type."I tell him." Please don't tell me your snobby?" he joked with a smile." Ah no, I don't like to be classified as that snobby chic stereotype." I reported to that's all I can say right now, GTG(Got To Go).
