A/N: The action takes place five years before the start of season 1.

South America , Heaven's gate:

The ground was covered with blood and death bodies. The sky was red and many stars shined on him. Some of the animals was hiding it the bushes and the others in their dens. In the woods many people and contractors was fighting and killed each other.

Between the trees , not far from the fight , a blue eyes boy with black hair held a blue eyes girl with brown eyes.

" Don't leave me. Stay with me." Hei whispered while holding Bai in his arms. Her right shoulder bled and her face had a few scratches. Bai felt acute pain for a second and shivered. Then she opened her mouth to speak , but stopped and began to cry.

" I don't want to do this , but I have to." Bai started to talk. " I love you….and I don't want you to die."

"Die?" Hei questioned confused. Bai started to close her eyes and Hei shook her. " Bai! Bai! Stay with me! Don't leave me alone after everything we've been through! I need you! You are my only family! Don't leave me , Xing!

Bai slowly opened her eyes. She couldn't remember when Hei last called with that name. It was so sweet to hear him calling her with her own name. She forced a hint of smile to her face and whispered:

" I'll always be with you….but you won't see me. We will always be together."

" No! No! You won't die! You promised me!" Hei yelled and began to cry. " Don't leave me!"

" I'm sorry , but I can't stay with you." Bai started to talk. " But you'll promised me that you will live. Please."

" No! Not and without you." Hei said. " Don't leave me!"

" Please. Promised me." Bai whispered and started to close her eyes.

" Alright! But stay with me , please!" Hei said while crying.

" I….love….you….brother." Bai whispered , opened her eyes and hugged Hei.

" I love you , too." Hei whispered while hugged her. That was his last moments with her and he wanted to make her happy , no matter how sad he was.

Suddenly a bright white light shined from Bai and covered the gate and 1,500 km area. Hei felt a strange feeling and passed out.
