Hannah Ain't Bananas
CHAPTER 1
Narrator POV
Hannah was absolutely sick of people calling her "Hannah Banana" just because it rhymed. In fact, she was sick of eating bananas all together. She hated the way banana mush sloshed around her tongue. Finally, she decided to do something about the unintentional name-calling.
Whenever Lola called her Hannah Banana, she simply ignored her. If she wanted to talk to her, she had to use her real name! At first, Lola just thought that Hannah didn't hear her. But, time after time, she was ignored. Lola thought something serious was up.
The next day, Lola talked to everyone at school about what was going on. They said that Hannah wasn't talking to them either. Hannah seemed to be ignoring everybody! Lola went home and made a list of possibilities:
1. She is on drugs
2. She is pregnant
3. She had an allergic reaction to her new lipstick
4. Aliens abducted her and replaced her with a robot
5. She wants that new bag she saw at Bags-R-Us and wont talk until she gets it
6. She has some scary new disease
7. She just realized Edward Cullen isn't real
There was only one way to find out which one(s) was the truth. Lola picked up her fuzzy green phone, and dialed Hannah's cell.
"Hello?" the popstar answered.
"Wazzup my darling Hannah Banana?" asked Lola
No answer.
"Hannah? Hannah Banana? What's wrong? Are you on pot? You need to stay above the influence!"
Lola waited on the phone for eight more minutes before hanging up. She thought back of all the great times they spent together during their friendship. As she began to contemplate their relationship ending, she felt a lump form in her throat. A tear strolled down her cheek. And another. The occasional tear broke into uncontrollable weeping until her face was red and puffy with sadness.
"It's okay, I'm just overreacting" she said as she tried to comfort herself, but her tears kept coming. Lola tried everything she could to chillax.
Meanwhile, Hannah was sitting back, hanging out at home, and thinking of how nice it will be when people finally use her real name. A lovely day, isn't it?
Authors Note: I wrote this chapter in a narrative point-of-view to serve as a good introduction. I plan to make each chapter in a different point-of-view, so you might see Jackson's POV one chapter, and his dad's POV the next.
