It all started when Gwen's car broke down and Ianto offered to give her a lift home. She invited him in for a cup of coffee and that's when things started to get heated. Rhys was waiting in the living room for her when they got to Gwen's house and it didnt take long for a shouting match to begin.
"Where the fuck have you been Gwen? It's nearly 11o'clock at night! And when you do come home, you've got another man with you. We're supposed to be married!"
"Rhys, I can explain..." Gwen started, but before she had chance to finish, Rhys had started shouting again.
"Too right you can explain! Thinking of jumping into bed with another man are we?"
"Come on Rhys, I have never slept with someone behind your back and i never will! This is Ianto, he works with me, my car broke down so he offered to drive me home and to thank him I was going to thank him by inviting him in for a cup of coffee." Gwen tried to explain to rhys why Ianto was there, but he still didn't believe her. SMACK! Rhys' hand connected with Gwen's delicate left cheek. That was the last straw for Gwen. She quickly walked into her and Rhys' bedroom and threw some of her clothes into a bag. She then proceeded to do the same with the rest of her stuff in the bathroom. When she returned to the living room, she removed her door key from her keys and threw it onto the coffee table, along with her wedding ring.
"We're over. I'll be back for the rest of my stuff as soon as I have somewhere else to live." She whispered before walking out the door.
