Settling an Argument
In the lair, Mikey and Donny were in the entertainment area playing a video game. Leo and Raph were arguing in the dojo.
"They've been at it for a while," Mikey said.
"They can't keep arguing forever," Donny said.
Just then, 8 year old Chloe Calls entered the lair. She heard the arguing and headed right for the dojo.
A few minutes later, Chloe came out with Leo and Raph. She had them sit down which they reluctantly did.
"I heard you arguing and I brought both of you out here so we could talk," Chloe said.
"I have nothing to say to Leo," Raph said.
"I have nothing to say to Raph," Leo said.
"Do you really enjoy arguing with each other?" Chloe asked seriously.
Leo and Raph glanced at each other. They slowly shook their heads.
"It really bothers me when the two of you argue," Mikey said.
"Why don't we talk about what's bothering the two of you and see if we can work out a solution?" Donny suggested which Raph and Leo agreed on.
Mikey, Donny, and Chloe spent the next hour listening to what was bothering Raph and Leo and why they were always arguing. When Leo and Raph were done talking, Chloe suddenly had an idea.
"How about from now on, you two talk about your problems and see if you can try to understand each other's viewpoints?" Chloe suggested. "If you can't agree on something, try to compromise."
Leo and Raph looked at each other and nodded. They both realized that Chloe had a point.
"I don't like it when we argue," Leo admitted.
"Neither do I," Raph admitted.
"Glad you see things in a whole new light," Donny said.
"I couldn't agree more," Mikey said.
Leo and Raph stood up. The two of them wrapped their arms around each other. Mikey, Donny, and Chloe were surprised. They weren't expecting that kind of reaction from Raph and Leo.
Mikey and Donny decided to join in which Leo and Raph accepted. The turtles squeezed each other tightly and eventually released each other.
"How about we have lunch at my grandparents' house?" Chloe suggested.
The turtles happily agreed and got their trench coats and fedora hats. After the disguises were put on, the turtles followed Chloe out of the lair.
