Disclaimer- I do NOT own Prince of Tennis. I wish I did though.
AN- This is actually my first time at writing Kamio and Momo. No killing me please?
Kamio bounced as he walked down the crowded streets of Tokyo, listening to the loud music pumping through the headphones. He was on his way to a new music store that had just opened, and was hoping to come across some new tunes to add to his ever growing collection of music. He was stopped at a light though, the store across the street. He tapped his feet in rhythm with the music, a distant smile on his face as he was immersed in the music. It didn't take to much to make him happy today, for he was sure that he had some new music in his new future. He crossed the street once it was safe, and entered the crowded music store.
He flipped through the nearest CD rack, pulling a CD off and looking it over carefully. He nodded in affirmation after a few moments of observing the CD, and picked it up. He moved through the store methodically. Finally, he reached the last rack, seeing a CD he had known was a new release. He was also pleased to note that it was the last CD there that was available. He reached out to take it, and add to his large pile of CD's when a hand darted out and took it just as his own fingers touched it. He glared at who the hand belonged to, "What do you think you're doing!?" He exclaimed, "Just taking it like that when it's obvious I'm taking it."
"I can take whatever I want." Momo replied, and started to proceed to the cash register.
"Where do you think you're going!?" Kamio exclaimed, grabbing Momo's arm.
"I'm going to pay for the CD that's mine!"
"I was reaching for it first!"
"But I got it first!"
"That doesn't matter!" Kamio exclaimed, attempting to grab onto the CD with his free hand and pull it free.
Their voices escalated in volume quickly as they butted heads over something like a simple music CD. People began to stare, just watching the two in fascination. The owner watched the two before heading over, "I'll let you pay for the CD's, but then you need to get out. I don't want to see you two back here!" Exclaimed the guy, leading the two to the cash register. With that, walking out with their purchases, they were escorted out of the store.
"I can't believe you got me kicked out of a music store!" Kamio exploded, taking slow deliberate steps toward Momoshiro, not allowing him to get a word in. "A new one at that! If you had just let me have the CD, neither of us would be in this mess!"
"I'm sorry!" Exclaimed Momo, "But I didn't start it!"
"Why should I need to talk to you for getting me kicked out of the store?" He stared down Momo, fire apparent in his eyes.
"Common courtesy!"
"Common courtesy also involves not getting others kicked out of stores." Kamio turned to walk away, turning up the volume of his MP3 player to block out Momo's voice.
He pushed through the crowds, wanting to get home as soon as possible and add to the towering stacks of CD's that covered his room. He felt the need to blast some loud music, and just feel the rhythm of the music. The steady beat of drums, or any such background noise could always calm him down... he needed it after dealing with Momoshiro.
