Chapter 1
For James Bond, vacation was relaxing but boring. Relaxing, because for once he had some peace and quiet. But also boring because he was not on the job. He loved the thrill of a mission and the danger that went along with it. He also loved the fact that he job allows him to travel to some of the most beautiful places in the world, and some of the most dangerous too. He had not worked in about five months and he was getting very restless. Everyday he would go to the MI6 office and never get one call from M, his boss.
He just sat in his office all day doing paperwork and reading documents and then sending them to the next person on the chain of command. He actually felt like he had a normal job but then he remembered that he works for the government and more importantly he works for Her Majesty's Secret Service. But then suddenly, just as he was about to leave for the day, he got the call, "007, can I see you please in my office." Said M over the phone. "Right away, M." Bond always replied. Bond left his office turned left and headed towards M's office. Bond opened the door, "Well it's about time that old…" as he opened the door he saw M right in front of him. Moneypenny chuckled, "You better bite your tongue, James." Bond smiled at Moneypenny, "Morning, Miss Moneypenny."
"I need to talk to you now, 007." Said M coldy. "Yes, ma'm." replied Bond as he followed M into her office. "It's been five months." Said M. "I know." Said Bond. "I've been keeping tract." "Sit down." M said in a hurry, Bond could tell by her voice that M didn't want to waste anymore time. Bond quickly sat down, "You sound rushed if you don't mind me saying." "I've been stressed lately." M said. "May I ask why?" said Bond.
"I have an assignment for you, 007. But, you're not going to like it." "I'm all ears." Said Bond. M pressed a button on her desk, "Moneypenny, send him in, please." "He will be able to explain the situation better than I can." The door opened as the old familiar man walked in, "Greetings, comrades." Said the General.
