Profiterole: A profiterole or cream puff is a popular choux pastry. Choux paste is baked into small round puffs that are served cold with a sweet filling and sometimes a topping. The term profiterole refers to a filling of ice cream.
Pairing: Sebastian x Ciel
Timeline: Sebastian is 22 and Ciel is 8; a week after Sebastian found Ciel.
Scene: Le Ciel Et L'enfer
The staff of Le Ciel Et L'enfer stared curiously at the wonder that sat silently on the stool. It was odd- the presence of this child; that was. Where did come from? How was he related to Sebastian? Is he really...?
Sebastian emerged from the kitchen soon after, holding a profiterole. Instantly, the child's blue eyes lit up like tiny stars, eyes locked onto the treat that oozed a creamy filling.
"Here you go." Sebastian placed the plate in front of his charge, watching with an amused glint in his eyes as Ciel licked his lips, ready to devour the choux pastry that lay innocently before him.
"Mr Sebastian?" started William, the one person who was calm enough to actually speak. Crimson eyes still trained on the child who was now licking the cream off his fingers greedily, he replied.
"Hmm?" The man replied inattentively, his mind focused on more...interesting things. Note to self- teach Ciel table manners.
"Who is this?"
The blue-eyed doll looked up at that question and for the first time that morning, spoke.
"My name is Ciel...and no, Sebastian is not my dad."
Silence...
"What? Your faces are like open books."
Maylene fainted with a nosebleed.
