It was quite a while ago. All human, Bella was kidnapped by Edward, who is a bit of a weirdo and nerd. They are in high school or college together, and Edward loves Bella, but they weren't friends. He keeps her in a room upstairs, and buys her things she needs. I think at one point she tried to escape and he sorta lost it, and then he was really sorry, cause he didn't want to hurt her. He had kidnapped her cause he thought he was protecting her. Edward told Bella he overheard MikeN at the library say he was gonna roofie her or something, so Edward kidnapped Bella to protect her?
