Gloria and Pheolix
Down in the deep waters of the Pacific Ocean lived a tiny goldfish named Gloria. Gloria was a very nice fish who always looked for the good in everyone. Also living in the Pacific was a Piranha named Pheolix. Pheolix was one of the meanest sea creatures you could ever find.
One day, Gloria was swimming to the mall when she heard a scream and all of a sudden there was no fish to be found within miles of downtown fishtropolis. Out of know where Pheolix swam in.
"Well hello Gloria", Pheolix chimed evilly, "where is your little friend"
"Well", perked Gloria, "Sammy went to the mall to find a jacket because you see; the jacket she bought last week didn't fit right and..."
"Enough!" hollered Pheolix, "I don't want to hear about Sammy's jacket problems." "Now, how would you like to join me for dinner Saturday night?"
"Oh wow, I would love to. I don't feel like we have really gotten to know each other since you moved here! What will we be having for our meal," asked Gloria.
"I can't tell you." Pheolix said, "You'll have to wait and see"
"Well I would love to," said Gloria, "but I have to get going now, or Sammy will wonder where I am"
That Saturday, Gloria swam to Pheolix's house for dinner.
"Hi there Gloria, wont you come in?" offered Pheolix.
"Hi Pheolix, I would love to thank you."
Pheolix showed Gloria to the dining room and sat her down in one of the chairs.
"So, what will we be eating tonight," asked Gloria.
With an evil smile Pheolix answered, "Oh you know, only one of the tastiest things around." And with that, Pheolix got off of his chair, swam out of the room, and came back in with a huge pan full of hot water. "Gloria would you like to take a swim in this warm relaxing Jacuzzi?" questioned Pheolix.
"Wow Pheolix I would love to," and with that Gloria swam over to the pan, but instead of getting in, Gloria pushed Pheolix into the big pot and slammed the lid down. But, because Gloria is such a thoughtful kind person, she opened the pot.
"Pheolix, I can't be mean, so I'm going to let you out. But you have to promise to never be mean or hurt any fish ever again," said Gloria.
"Ugh fine," groaned Pheolix, "I promise from now on I will be nice, but then you have to promise that you will never tell any one about this, deal?"
"Deal," perked Gloria.
And as he said, from that day on Pheolix used his strength and wittiness for good and not evil. Like he promised, he never hurt another fish again, and soon all the fishes in the deep blue sea forgot about Pheolix's mean side and he soon made plenty of friends.
