This weekend the wizarding world said goodbye to a much loved wizard. The following is a poem read by Hermione Malfoy at her late husband's, Draco Malfoy, funeral.
A tentative friendship
Gaining trust
Something is growing
New feelings
A date
Ending with a kiss
-0-
Love in bloom
Stolen kisses
Shared passion
Down on a knee
A proposal
Answered with a yes
-0-
A few breaths
Walking some steps
Minutes pass
Two words
"I do"
Sealed with a kiss
-0-
A short cry
Brand new life
Years go by
Kids grow up
Moved out
Life's new chapter
-0-
The diagnosed sickness
Time shortened
Life lived
On a deathbed
Laboured breaths
The clock is ticking
-0-
A final beat
The heart stops
Sobs ring out
Life is gone
Fading away
Just a memory

The family is heart-stricken that he died at only 55. The family will not release the cause of his death to the public at this time. Unfortunately, he will not get to see the birth of his second child who is to be due next month. His daughter, who had just moved out and gotten married, is taken his passing harder than his now widowed wife. The two had a unique father-daughter bond and she stated, "At least he got to walk me down the aisle on my big day. I will miss you daddy and I hope that wherever you are you are happy."
So what did you think? Feel free to review; all you need to do is push that blue button. I am in the process of writing a new story but I need your help! Go to my page and vote for which fairy tale you think Hermione should get stuck in.
