When Molly Hooper looked for the hundredth time at the Valentine's Day card she created, she seemed satisfied. It was quite classical, she wrote a 'Happy Valentine's Day' with a red ink, and under this text, there was a Cupid drawing. She didn't know if she had to add his name, it could be dangerous : he was always poking his nose everywhere when he came to see her. No, he never came to see her, but when he needed her.
His behaviour was so cruel sometimes, and every time he saw her, he couldn't help : he humiliated her. Did he really mean what he said? She didn't want to believe it. But why was he like this with her? Now, a lot of questions were begging her, and to ignore them, she sipped her hot chocolate and began to eat her cookie.
Suddenly, someone stood in front of the door, which made her choke. Sherlock Holmes rolled his eyes, and when Molly stood up, her face was red.
"Molly, I need to see the body of Mrs Dulley now."
His grey eyes seemed to examine her. It was uncomfortable. Really uncomfortable.
"Oh, yes, she's in room 2."
He turned on his heels, and walked away. He'll come back soon enough, she thought. But he appeared suddenly, and she just had time to hide the card under a pile of papers.
Sherlock didn't pay attention to her and to her embarrassment, he rushed to her desk, and opened a few drawers.
"Don't you have any piece of paper and a pen here?"
With haste, he struck the pile of papers down, and sighted.
"And set your things in order, for God's sa..."
He stopped talking, and his eyes focused on the Valentine's card. He took it and looked at the red writing. He frowned. Molly panicked, what was he going to say? Fortunately, she didn't write his name on it.
"Molly, don't you have anything else to do than childish things like this? It's a pity, you're really wasting your time..."
And after putting the card on her desk, he left the room. Molly tried to pull herself together, and sat. Obviously, he didn't notice that the card was for him. She took her cup, drank the content, and immediately spit it out. Her drink was cold.
THE END.
